A police colleague of mine told me of a very scary moment while in night shift a few years ago. They were patrolling in Sedgefield South Africa and took an Earth road to an open area which had many trees. There had been an unsolved murder there before. They parked their police van. Turned it off with the handbrake on. Suddenly he said the van shot forward for about 10 meters (handbrake on and on a flat surface. When they climbed out to investigate, something unseen pushed them back into the vehicle. They made a very quick exit and reported it to the officer at their police station. He had been in the service for years. He told them yes, it had happened to him as well. Needless to say they never patrolled there again
I used to be a cop, and I can tell you that we sometimes had some definitely scary places we had to patrol, and sometimes enter. These included, in some cases, abandoned weapons bunkers and control center from as far back as World War One, but the most odd things seemed to be centered around WW2 spots that were heavily used during the war but mostly abandoned after the war's end. These were concentrated in Germany but also in England, where I was stationed while in the US Air Force as a Military Police Officer. Scary stuff!

Worked on a hospital ward in the mud nineties which was for patients with infectious diseases. One poor man who was being given end of life care for Aids was being nursed in a double door barrier nursed room on the ward. During the last week of his life he became very distressed at night in the room and constantly pressed the nurse call buzzer at his bedside . This went on all week every night and was really just a cry out for human contact while alone in his room. He sadly died at the end of the week and the room was emptied and closed up ready for domestic staff to come in and deep clean it before next use. The night staff reported that the light and buzzer alert constantly kept going off for the next two nights even though room was empty. Maintenance guy came into to checkout the buzzer system for a fault but found no problem. The issue just stopped spontaneously after three nights with no other issues again.
Ghosts DO exist. My mother in law once lived in a house built over old mortuary land . That house was definitely haaunted,there was no other explanation for the things that happened there.
I've been on law enforcement for 24 years now... I've seen things and heard stories from other officers that people just wouldn't believe if we told them. I hope now that we have body cameras some of these stories will be caught on camera some day.

Turned out one of our new neighbours had a rather large, black pet cat who loved to sit outside our window and he had been sitting there watching my BFF for lord knows how long!! 🤣🤣

I can completely relate to (those) officers. It is my contention that (remarkable) scenes of death inexorably leave an impression - much like a digital recording - that is replayed, periodically, but I would add, as a disclaimer, that not all individuals are receptive to such paranormal/supernatural phenomena. it does make those of us who are, special however. Chilling material, indeed :)
I can assure you as an ex security officer, disappearing sweets during the overnight shift is definitely ghosts! In an unrelated note, now that I'm no longer an officer, I've lost 70lbs! Much supernatural, such spooky....

I've had several experiences, but this one sticks out the most. I was house sitting while a friend of mine and his girlfriend were on vacay for the weekend. At 3:00am I was half awake when the light went on in the kitchen. I could see it from the bedroom doorway. I knew there was someone there, but he didn't believe. I hear sweeping noises, like someone was sweeping the floor. It went on for about 2 minutes and the sweeping stopped and the light went out. Scared the hell out of me. I told him what happened and he just ignored me. lol I wasn't going in that house at night anymore.
It seems like he would have had ANY other reaction than that...so maybe he had experienced something like that before and just didn't want to admit it☺
If I was a security guard in an empty building. The first sign of something creepy, I would leave the area and be like "yup I checked it, nothing there, everything clear." If I hear someone walking down a clear hallway, I'm walking AWAY. I will not be "investigating" a got damn thing. I'm gone.
My uncle died in 2005 and my uncle was 77 when he died. He never got marryed or had any kids. My brother and I had to clean out his flat. He lived alone and I was the only one who had a key to his flat. It took us about a week to clean everything out. One day ( it was a Wednesday ) we returned to the flat only to see all of the lights was on and the plug was put in the bath. The bath taps was fully on. The water was rising up the bath fast. I had to turn of the taps and pull the plug out. Who put the plug in and turn on the taps of the bath? Who turned on all of the lights of my uncles flat if noone was there all night long? This all happened at 7am in the morning. The funny thing was my late uncle always had a bath every Wednesday? I shall never forget that morning. It was very creepy experience.

I used to do security for a major car auto industry plant. The whole place is haunted. Whenever they need someone to check certain buildings they have me do it lol the others too afraid to check themselves. Im used to it i grew up in a very haunted home.
I too grew up in a haunted home and lived in other haunted houses. I am very used to various types of hauntings. Anyway, there is always someone watching over me and keeping me safe from harmful spirits. I depend on him for protection always. He is a good ghost who has over 20 times saved my life, probably hundreds of time without my knowledge. He is more than good, bless him. Most times, he never alerts me to immediate dangers: he thwarts them quietly and leaves me in blissful ignorance. It is always afterwards that I find signs of thwarted dangers like signs of botched burglaries like broken glass, smashed doors, scorch marks of extinguished fires, etc.
I have worked law enforcement for many years and have encountered many strange things but you learn to keep it to yourself unless you want people to think your crazy.
The abandoned hospital story is a strange one because of how many people that work over night that experience an entity cross a hallway when in a locked door closed environment
My daughter did security for a trucking lot on graveyard shift. She'd spend the nights watching shadow figures walk around. One night one sat next to her in the car! Other times she would watch the dome light switch in the car turn off while she was doing reports. I still don't know why she keeps working in those places 😔
I have a friend who worked in the military, he went to check out a house on the base he worked at, because the neighbors said the lights were on, he turned them off twice before going in with a K-9 unit, the dog stopped at the door, and the handler stayed with the dog, while A(the friend) went in and busted ALL the lights, next time they called about it, the light was just white, not like a Light bulb white, just white, needless to say, he didn't go back in
animals are very perceptive and sensitive to ghosts. we had two of our pets just staring at something/someone intently, which we could not see ourselves. it was totally out of the ordinary. usually they will look at something and you can see what they are looking at. but we had the few instances where this anomalay occured with them. one of our family members had passed away after a long illness, at home. i wonder if it was him they were seeing or someone else.
I know this is an old video but I just got to say this WE NEED *COPS!* I know a lot of people don't like them right now and I know not every cop is the nicest but most of them are pretty nice and they risk their lives to help us they are citizens just like everyone else they're just as scared as everyone else but they go out there and they do their damn job sometimes some not the best, But a lot of them save lives and help people! Nature Imposter: I agree with 95% of your comment about cops. You are correct. There are many good cops who are kind and have a genuine desire to help people. I am always respectful to them. However, I've had two instances where I've dealt with a dirty cop and an arrogant cop. The unfortunate part is that if you try to complain legally, the courts will always and I mean always take the police officer's side. In my case, the judge wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. But, yes, I do agree with you in that there are still a lot of decent, hardworking police officers. And, yes! We do need them. Take care.

I just want to say this could be a visual haunting simply meaning that it's the building acting as a primitive recorder so the events that the guard witnessed or heard would just events that had happened in the past
I retired from Florida State Prison and at one Time I worked the Third Shift on the Wing where they executed the Death Row inmates. One officer is required to check the entire wing every thirty minutes. Once, I made the rounds and was alone on the Bottom floor which is the Floor where the executions took place. At the time, no one was housed there. That Prison is Old School and had no Electronic Doors on the Cells. We used really big keys, When you hold them by the Ring and walk, they have a distinctive sound. I KNOW THAT SOUND, That night, I heard it on that empty floor. Like the dutiful Officer I was, I reported it to the CO who was working the Wing with me that night. He and the third officer that was on the Wing with me that night turned and looked at each other. We are supposed to call the Control Room and write up Incident Reports on anything we note as unusual so I asked the Wing Sergent what we should do. He said that there were others who had heard that sound and told me that unless I want to report a Ghost and put the entire Prison on an Alert, then it's best to forget about and ignore the Incident. I did just that.
Back in the day as a young man in the late 70's ghosts were a fantasy, now, all these witnesses, and how many saw something but never report it, I find it fascinating but beyond creepy. I'll watch from a distance. Thank you🙏
In the second story, the abandoned hospital....He said the one wing, or area, was all original. Never renovated since the 1920's. Well, if that's the case--How can you hit the "switch" on a light? Wall light switches were still push button back then. Switches weren't used until at least 15 years later.
Yep I've seen a few things in my day, first was a dead pet that kept appearing last time Sooty appeared on the bed sat up eyeing me and swishing his tail. I was so close I could of touched him, then I blinked and he disappeared. Most recent is the funeral home I have purchased and am currently renovating into 5 shops, while painting I turned swiftly and saw a figure staring at me then I blinked and it disappeared. My advice blink it's what I do, the day they don't disappear is the day I really freak out.
Here in Halifax Nova Scotia, there's an old school where done of the bodies recovered from the Titanic were laid out before burial. There is done Strange happenings inside there. Desks being shoved at you, books bring thrown at you, voices. An all around terrible place.

Elijah Clair Ten years ago or so I was out with friends just driving around this creepy park. It was really dark, had twists and turns, with a cemetery next to it hidden only by trees. Anyways, we get to a stop sign and see a green balloon just floating in the air as if someone was holding it. We thought it was creepy but didn't think about it again until later. We're on the other side of the park and see a green ballon bouncing as if someone was dribbling it. Needless to say, we got out of there. There was no wind that night, and the park is at least two football fields long so it couldn't have just been blown over to the other side in a matter of minutes. Immediately I thought of It.
These seemingly unbelievevable stories actually happen. In the summer of 2015, I was staying at my pals rented house in llangwm in Monmouthshire. At about 12 o'clock midnight we both heard somebody walking up the stairs, my pals dog ran up the stairs at about the time the noise was fading away. My pal moved out not long after. She was told some time later that the house had been the scene of a dreadful suicide and murder way back in the 1960s and that nobody would stay at the house for more than 12 months. At this time of writing it is available to rent once again?

there's plenty of proof. i agree with you there is alos of stipid hoax content on yt but this doesn't change the fact that spirits/ghosts exist. i have a good friend who witnessed a fully formed aparition at his home. long story. this was witnessed by a large number of people from young to adult and was indusputable as the ghost was so clear and visible for so long. my friend told me but does not wish to talk about it as they were all scared (although there was no malice on the part of the spirit, or no untoward acts). this friend is one of the most sane, honest people i know. so a very cridible witness as were the many others who saw this.

Yes there are a lot of things in Hawaii people don't know about. There is a similar story to the statue. There is a statue when you drive and circle around it, seems like its moving everytime. I got a lot of real ghost stories told by my parents that actually happened here in Hawaii, even my own encounters.
After the flashflood that happened on my City last 2013 about 2-3 thousand people died at my city. There is a village that is completey washed out and they never found the body of some families. The flashflood happened 11pm so all of the people are alseep at that time. Some where trapped at thier own home and died when the water was very high upto the ceiling. After the flood a lot of people experienced weird things and heard things. They sometimes hear people crying and asking for help.
I'll figured that add my story I used to work as an armed security officer for the National Guard in the state that I live I was out to the camp and I had to go down and check all the ranges I get to the final observing point climb the tower hit the point but i had the feeling that something was watching me so I get back to my truck and turn on the flood lights all the lights grab our 10 million candle spotlight and shine up on the hill as I was sweeping the top of the hill come across two eyes staring down at me as I watch these eyes they stood up straight up about 10 ft in the air from my perspective and then the ice just disappeared kept watching then I catch a glimpse of one I like it was looking over his shoulder it just stood there and staring at me at this point I said forget this cuz every hair on the back of my neck stood up it just felt wrong so I jump in her truck and I got out fast. Another time that I was just doing it just to check the ammo sites on came along the back side to get to her second point and I seen a soldier standing there by the road I approached him World War 1 style uniform when I got to him he just waved at me until I stopped and look behind me and he was gone

There's nothing to be afraid of, they're just people. I worked for years at a steel mill that had employed 2,000 men but was down to about 400. I worked the night shift and when the mill (which was as large as a small town) was shut down for a holidays or whatever I'd be there alone. Anyway, I was the one they started to pick on but I wasn't afraid. When, after poltergeist activity, the whole shebang, I had to laugh at the things they did. Guess what? They liked me! I'm kind of a psychic but I can't control it. Never be afraid of spirit. There is no death and we'll all be there with them, as ourselves.
+Xerdar36 I can add my own experience to calm you and others. When my grandpa died in liver cancer as a 62 years old. My family had quite a lot of Poltergeist activity. We visited my grandparents summer house in the winter with 1 and a half meters of snow surrounding it. When we approached the house we noticed every single window was wide open. We saw no foot prints or signs of anyone who could have gone through the thick snow to the house. Inside the house the washing machine, dish washer, the stereo was on and the table had piles of China on it. These activities was happening from time to time for half a year. I had the scariest encounter as I woke up in the middle of the night seeing the full moon lighting up my room so I could see every single detail. Suddenly I noticed a dark figure in the corner who sat down at one of my chairs facing me. I was only 14 so I screamed and ran for the door. My dad rushed in and saw the blanket I thrown over the figure slowly fall over the chair meanwhile the figure dematerialized in glowing small orbs almost like snowflakes. I had a few other nighttime visits later in life. But they dont do you any harm. I dont think they remember how scared humans are for these encounters and they mean no harm with a small % of exceptions. I could sense that vividly after my encounters. The Shadow people cant do anymore than to scare you and its the same with most malevolent beings.

I have worked law enforcement for many years and have encountered many strange things but you learn to keep it to yourself unless you want people to think your crazy.
I work in LE and this stuff happens all the time. Officers usually don't talk about it. All very believable stories.

The abandoned hospital story is a strange one because of how many people that work over night that experience an entity cross a hallway when in a locked door closed environment
The first story was the creepiest.
My daughter did security for a trucking lot on graveyard shift. She'd spend the nights watching shadow figures walk around. One night one sat next to her in the car! Other times she would watch the dome light switch in the car turn off while she was doing reports. I still don't know why she keeps working in those places 😔
I have a friend who worked in the military, he went to check out a house on the base he worked at, because the neighbors said the lights were on, he turned them off twice before going in with a K-9 unit, the dog stopped at the door, and the handler stayed with the dog, while A(the friend) went in and busted ALL the lights, next time they called about it, the light was just white, not like a Light bulb white, just white, needless to say, he didn't go back in

animals are very perceptive and sensitive to ghosts. we had two of our pets just staring at something/someone intently, which we could not see ourselves. it was totally out of the ordinary. usually they will look at something and you can see what they are looking at. but we had the few instances where this anomalay occured with them. one of our family members had passed away after a long illness, at home. i wonder if it was him they were seeing or someone else.

I know this is an old video but I just got to say this WE NEED *COPS!* I know a lot of people don't like them right now and I know not every cop is the nicest but most of them are pretty nice and they risk their lives to help us they are citizens just like everyone else they're just as scared as everyone else but they go out there and they do their damn job sometimes some not the best, But a lot of them save lives and help people! It's tough it is it is to say we NEED them. and The people who cannot see that are not looking at FACTS and must be IGNORANT and listen to whatever sum1 says, I know the people that died that was not right and they should not have died, BUT *ALL* LIVES MATTER! even the officers.

Nature Imposter: I agree with 95% of your comment about cops. You are correct. There are many good cops who are kind and have a genuine desire to help people. I am always respectful to them. However, I've had two instances where I've dealt with a dirty cop and an arrogant cop. The unfortunate part is that if you try to complain legally, the courts will always and I mean always take the police officer's side. In my case, the judge wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. But, yes, I do agree with you in that there are still a lot of decent, hardworking police officers. And, yes! We do need them. Take care.

I just want to say this could be a visual haunting simply meaning that it's the building acting as a primitive recorder so the events that the guard witnessed or heard would just events that had happened in the past
I retired from Florida State Prison and at one Time I worked the Third Shift on the Wing where they executed the Death Row inmates. One officer is required to check the entire wing every thirty minutes. Once, I made the rounds and was alone on the Bottom floor which is the Floor where the executions took place. At the time, no one was housed there. That Prison is Old School and had no Electronic Doors on the Cells. We used really big keys, When you hold them by the Ring and walk, they have a distinctive sound. I KNOW THAT SOUND, That night, I heard it on that empty floor. Like the dutiful Officer I was, I reported it to the CO who was working the Wing with me that night. He and the third officer that was on the Wing with me that night turned and looked at each other. We are supposed to call the Control Room and write up Incident Reports on anything we note as unusual so I asked the Wing Sergent what we should do. He said that there were others who had heard that sound and told me that unless I want to report a Ghost and put the entire Prison on an Alert, then it's best to forget about and ignore the Incident. I did just that.

In the second story, the abandoned hospital....He said the one wing, or area, was all original. Never renovated since the 1920's. Well, if that's the case--How can you hit the "switch" on a light? Wall light switches were still push button back then. Switches weren't used until at least 15 years later.

Yep I've seen a few things in my day, first was a dead pet that kept appearing last time Sooty appeared on the bed sat up eyeing me and swishing his tail. I was so close I could of touched him, then I blinked and he disappeared.
Most recent is the funeral home I have purchased and am currently renovating into 5 shops, while painting I turned swiftly and saw a figure staring at me then I blinked and it disappeared.
My advice blink it's what I do, the day they don't disappear is the day I really freak out.

35yrs + as an officer, never experienced anything like these and if I had I don't think I would retired as an officer, probably would have found a new profession.

Elijah Clair Ten years ago or so I was out with friends just driving around this creepy park. It was really dark, had twists and turns, with a cemetery next to it hidden only by trees. Anyways, we get to a stop sign and see a green balloon just floating in the air as if someone was holding it. We thought it was creepy but didn't think about it again until later. We're on the other side of the park and see a green ballon bouncing as if someone was dribbling it. Needless to say, we got out of there. There was no wind that night, and the park is at least two football fields long so it couldn't have just been blown over to the other side in a matter of minutes. Immediately I thought of It.

These seemingly unbelievevable stories actually happen. In the summer of 2015, I was staying at my pals rented house in llangwm in Monmouthshire. At about 12 o'clock midnight we both heard somebody walking up the stairs, my pals dog ran up the stairs at about the time the noise was fading away. My pal moved out not long after. She was told some time later that the house had been the scene of a dreadful suicide and murder way back in the 1960s and that nobody would stay at the house for more than 12 months. At this time of writing it is available to rent once again?

there's plenty of proof. i agree with you there is alos of stipid hoax content on yt but this doesn't change the fact that spirits/ghosts exist. i have a good friend who witnessed a fully formed aparition at his home. long story. this was witnessed by a large number of people from young to adult and was indusputable as the ghost was so clear and visible for so long. my friend told me but does not wish to talk about it as they were all scared (although there was no malice on the part of the spirit, or no untoward acts). this friend is one of the most sane, honest people i know. so a very cridible witness as were the many others who saw this.
I agree because me and my sister grew up seeing them after my dad died.....and we still see them now. It's scary, especially ppl you never met but family members makes it better to digest.

Yes there are a lot of things in Hawaii people don't know about. There is a similar story to the statue. There is a statue when you drive and circle around it, seems like its moving everytime. I got a lot of real ghost stories told by my parents that actually happened here in Hawaii, even my own encounters.

After the flashflood that happened on my City last 2013 about 2-3 thousand people died at my city. There is a village that is completey washed out and they never found the body of some families. The flashflood happened 11pm so all of the people are alseep at that time. Some where trapped at thier own home and died when the water was very high upto the ceiling. After the flood a lot of people experienced weird things and heard things. They sometimes hear people crying and asking for help.

I'll figured that add my story I used to work as an armed security officer for the National Guard in the state that I live I was out to the camp and I had to go down and check all the ranges I get to the final observing point climb the tower hit the point but i had the feeling that something was watching me so I get back to my truck and turn on the flood lights all the lights grab our 10 million candle spotlight and shine up on the hill as I was sweeping the top of the hill come across two eyes staring down at me as I watch these eyes they stood up straight up about 10 ft in the air from my perspective and then the ice just disappeared kept watching then I catch a glimpse of one I like it was looking over his shoulder it just stood there and staring at me at this point I said forget this cuz every hair on the back of my neck stood up it just felt wrong so I jump in her truck and I got out fast. Another time that I was just doing it just to check the ammo sites on came along the back side to get to her second point and I seen a soldier standing there by the road I approached him World War 1 style uniform when I got to him he just waved at me until I stopped and look behind me and he was gone

There's nothing to be afraid of, they're just people. I worked for years at a steel mill that had employed 2,000 men but was down to about 400. I worked the night shift and when the mill (which was as large as a small town) was shut down for a holidays or whatever I'd be there alone. Anyway, I was the one they started to pick on but I wasn't afraid. When, after poltergeist activity, the whole shebang, I had to laugh at the things they did. Guess what? They liked me! I'm kind of a psychic but I can't control it. Never be afraid of spirit. There is no death and we'll all be there with them, as ourselves.

+Xerdar36 I can add my own experience to calm you and others. When my grandpa died in liver cancer as a 62 years old. My family had quite a lot of Poltergeist activity. We visited my grandparents summer house in the winter with 1 and a half meters of snow surrounding it. When we approached the house we noticed every single window was wide open. We saw no foot prints or signs of anyone who could have gone through the thick snow to the house. Inside the house the washing machine, dish washer, the stereo was on and the table had piles of China on it. These activities was happening from time to time for half a year. I had the scariest encounter as I woke up in the middle of the night seeing the full moon lighting up my room so I could see every single detail.
Suddenly I noticed a dark figure in the corner who sat down at one of my chairs facing me. I was only 14 so I screamed and ran for the door. My dad rushed in and saw the blanket I thrown over the figure slowly fall over the chair meanwhile the figure dematerialized in glowing small orbs almost like snowflakes. I had a few other nighttime visits later in life. But they dont do you any harm. I dont think they remember how scared humans are for these encounters and they mean no harm with a small % of exceptions. I could sense that vividly after my encounters. The Shadow people cant do anymore than to scare you and its the same with most malevolent beings.
