You're absolutely right! These medieval towns and villages are like living museums, each with its own unique charm and stories. They offer a wonderful glimpse into Europe's rich past while still being vibrant communities today.
I don’t know about other countries but I live in France and feel this video only lists mainstream tourist traps. When in France, if you’re looking for medieval places go to the Occitanie region and visit villages like Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Collonges-La-Rouge or Cordes-Sur-Ciel. You’ll feel like time travelling.

I'm glad people are starting to notice that all of Europe has medieval towns (and other historical monuments). Until a couple of years ago it seemed only England, France and Germany had medieval heritage, when it's a feature shared by all european countries.
You're absolutely right! It's great to see a growing awareness of the rich medieval heritage across all of Europe. Indeed, from Portugal to Poland, from Sweden to Sicily, medieval architecture and history are integral parts of the European landscape.

Thank you for the nice video at first most important. Why are there pictures of Delft in the Prague part ;) lol ) I am missing the beautiful Ukranian city of Lviv in here. But after all really enjoyed the nice views and put some landmarks for coming visits so thanks
Thank you so much for your kind words and for pointing that out! Haha, you're right about the Delft pictures sneaking into the Prague section! I'll make sure to correct that in future edits. Lviv is indeed a beautiful city, and I'll definitely keep it in mind for future videos. I'm glad you enjoyed the views and found some landmarks for your future visits. Thanks again!
It's an interesting thought! While modern architecture can be impressive, the timeless appeal of historic sites often draws more tourists. Both old and new have their place in shaping a city's unique character.
Only Toledo from Spain? OMG. Our language, castilian, is named after the most iconic medieval building, the castles. That’s a clue about the heritage my country preserve. Most of the cities you showed are restored and show a false historic face. I recommend, only in Extremadura, Cáceres and Trujillo.
Thank you for your insightful comment! You're right, Spain has an incredibly rich medieval heritage that goes far beyond Toledo. The connection between the Castilian language and castles is indeed fascinating. Cáceres and Trujillo in Extremadura are excellent suggestions for authentic medieval towns. We appreciate your input and will consider featuring more Spanish locations in future videos to better represent the country's diverse historical landscape.
Nuremberg looks not good in reality, most of the town was destroyed in WW II and as they rebuild it, it's not ''medival'' anymore and second off all it dosen't look good in comparision to the rest of towns from this list which are stunning.
VERY AMAZING AND WONDERFUL TOWNS AND VILLAGES. VISITED MOST OF THEM AND I CAN CONFIRM THESE FABIOLOUS PLACES.THE WORST COUNTRY I HAVE VISITED IN EUROPE IS MALTA, AVOID THIS COUNTRY.
