Thank you for sharing this video. I have been studying 1 Corinthians 11 for about the last year, and that led me into a study on church history on this topic. I dared to share my convictions and these findings with a friend (who actually invited the conversation), and was referred to as a legalist and modern-day Pharisee, which of course hurt my heart. I really feel like it's no mistake that this passage/practice have been dismissed. Getting people to ignore this is part of the enemy's strategy. It's about so much more than a piece of cloth--it's everything that it represents. It's interesting to note how far we've veered as a society and church when it comes to gender roles/the beauty in God's design, and having humble hearts that submits to His order (which is for our good!) Anyways, I bring this up and wham--labeled as things that are not my heart at all. So, thank you for sharing. ❤️

      God Bless you Susan.
Don't worry about these people, they are not mature enough to know that liberalism is the ghost of FREEDOM, and they grasp at liberalism to make up for their insecurity and ignorance and confusion.
I always remember what God said to Jonah.
"What is it to you if I want to have compassion on these people who don't know their left hand from their right hand ?".
As a guy who has been through a lot, the head covering is up there in importance with communion, that's why Paul spoke about them together.
Do you cover ? Are you married ? There are a few guys out there who have found the Truth about Divine Order and the head covering.
Those guys hold women who cover in the highest esteem.
Of course there are many and various issues and challenges that we as men and women face which are specific to us as men and women, but the Truth is pure and invincible and caters to everyone equally.
When a Christian woman doesn't cover, it is really the spirit of anti-Christ manifesting.
It is denying the perfect work of Christ.

With so many against head coverings, that should say something about how convicting it is to the people who oppose it. When they come against this topic or those for head coverings, it's truly a spirit of vanity steeped in pride. Many don't want to die to self, crucify their flesh, and God forbid... "submit" to both their Heavenly Husband and earthly one in this way!

Women like you are truly the glory of man.
I found the truth about masculinity and femininity after a HUGE long battle, with many many dangerous and desperate times, both naturally and spiritually, and when I broke through, - head covering in 1Cor 11, burst into magnificent profundity as the authoritative outward display of intentional engagement in Divine Order,- and the perfect work of Christ in creation as well as in redemption.
Truly, woman is the Glory OF man, and man is the image and glory OF God.
It seems that ALL other matters are manageable and slip away into insignificance once Divine Order and basic identity is properly established.

Growing up I never considered wearing a head covering to Church. However, the tradition is coming back especially with younger women who crave authenticity and beauty in the service/liturgy. It is growing on my heart and I think if you do it with pure intentions, not for attention or feeling forced, it can be a beautiful way to help your mind focus and humble yourself before God. I just ordered one from Etsy. We’ll see if I’m brave enough to wear it!

I had grown up in the church and had fallen away for quite some time during high school. I'm now finished with my first year of college, and all of a sudden I felt God was urging me to cover my hair. 2 Timothy 3:13 was my verse of the day when I felt convicted to rededicate my life to Christ, and to follow his instruction in covering my hair. For example: My husband wants me to take it off when I am just hanging out at home with him. I have been convicted of the Holy Spirit to head cover since March of this year. And I can see a big difference in the way I am treated. Before, some men would carelessly cuss around me or tell crude jokes. They never meant anything by it... it was just how they were used to behaving. But ever since I’ve begun wearing a head covering, no more cussing around me and not a single nasty joke! As a matter of fact, I see an admiration and deep respect in their eyes when they speak to me. They behave as gentleman. 😊🙏🏼 It’s hard to explain. But there is definitely “power on her head because of the angels”!! Praise the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! And God bless you all!!

Let's say head coverings was, in fact, majoring in the minors.
So then, shouldn't those who oppose head coverings simply give in instead of causing division and fighting over such a minor issue. Why get upset when people teach on head coverings. Aren't those complainers also, then, majoring in the minors?

I'll never understand how a crown for daughters of the King of the Universe is majoring in the minors and how it's a symbol of being faithful to a husband, Messiah. It's a very powerful physical symbol of the spiritual protection. The fight over having a piece of cloth on one's head shows you how powerful it is. Her head covering went away when the Jezebel spirit started to really come Upon Society back in the 30s and 40s. I do wish women would embrace menorahs earrings instead of the Cross, because the cross is a symbol of Roman torture and authority, but the menorah represents the Holy Spirit as a light of the world.

From my understanding, many people are averse to the Authority of God / authority of scripture / patriarchal authority, because they have suffered paternal abandonment.
That's a big subject. The head covering is a symbol of Divine order.
That can trigger some people more than others depending on how much they have suffered from paternal abandonment.
Recognising divine order means that men are responsible for leadership, and anything that's wrong in the church and society is a result of their failure to rule well, which will be due to deferring to the flesh, and men don't want to face that.
Most men would rather stay cocooned in a safe space of passive mediocrity and acceptability to under fathered women.

@matriarchyh8r I think you're on to something. I am researching into the head coverings and I am struggling. I think it has to do with my father not being a provider but rather neglecting his family and going off starting a new one. I love my husband I respect him. I know Christ is my Savior and I am in awe and reverence of Him and the Scriptures. But this is hard - it's hard to submit to an ungodly authority and if your husband has no desire to learn or be bothered. But I think the root IS paternal abandonment. We don't learn to respect men but to resent them. We had to do everything the man was supposed to plus our role. And now it's like - Now *I* have to cover up and be uncomfortable? Stared at? Ridiculed etc...to me I love being a wife and mother but I do SO much. We give birth we nurse the children we raise them and some of us also work from home or outside of the home and I am the one that needs to cover???
Do you see what I'm getting at? Like what does the man have to do? It's like they always get off easy or can walk away from their responsibilities as we so clearly see portrayed in Adam and his lack of communication leadership and protection.
I was telling my sister yesterday how woman was made for the man to help him..and she said where is my help???
And I sadly completely get that. Our modern society has completely eroded the Godly order but from the beginning of time man has chose not to fulfill his duty ...and so to me headcovering feels like another female responsibility I must take. A burden.
Not sure if I am the only woman to feel or think this way but like I said I am struggling and in time I'm sure it will work our but there is trauma involved and these so called fathers and men will have much to given an account of in that day.

@@FelineFamilyVlogs7 🙂 It's a common theme that one could write a book about. I want to try and write something in reply that will make a difference.
Men get demoralised and lose their joy. The joy of the Lord should be our strength.
Gen 3:16 defines the work dynamic instituted by God, to prevent man and woman walking off into the sunset and leaving God out.
I believe the "Silence of Adam" and the "Innocence of Eve" are doctrines of demons used together to further shame and silence men.
So without writing a book here about that, I encourage you to jettison those 2 doctrines.
God clearly didn't regard Eve as innocent.
She was deceived, AND she tempted Adam, AND she took the knowledge of good and Evil.
We can safely assume that Adam would not have been beguiled by the serpent had Adam been approached directly.
We can also safely assume that being the glory of man is what gave her considerable sway over Adam.
God didn't say that Adam had sinned by failing to rule over Eve.
Eve obviously had free agency prior to the fall, but after the fall God gave Adam a mandate to rule.
Obviously God did not mandate Adam to dominate and control his wife.
Two cannot walk together unless they be agreed.
Here is a question that highlights the dilemma we face.
If we consider the long list of all the ways that woman is so wonderful and glorious, as well as every human being coming into the world by conception, growing inside her for 9 months and giving birth, then nurturing through infancy, - what is it that gives men equivalency to women ?
I have asked this question of many women, and almost unanimously no woman knows the answer.
We do know that Adam was there with God in the garden, naming the animals, before Eve existed.
We know that Adam said she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man.
We know that woman was made for man not man for woman, - so they are not made equally for each other.
We know the relationship between man and woman is not a reciprocal arrangement but more of a head and body scenario.
There are many many subtle lies that together contribute to the common mind-set that blocks the light of truth shining into our consciousness.
A man cannot love unless he is free, and he cannot get free unless he identifies the subtle lies that have infiltrated his heart, and he replaces them with better concepts until he may eventually come out of a dark forest.
It is not realistic to demand and expect personal power from a man who is lost in the woods.
The problem men have is they are competing against the biological power of woman/mother on a deep sub-conscious level.
They have not extricated themselves from identifying themselves as men in, relation to woman, or over against women, or in contrast to woman.
Men who are not spiritually emancipated tend to blow their sexuality, and what they have and what they do, out of proportion.
While men have woman as their reference point (HEAD) they are subverted.
They can't afford to give woman the glory that is due to her.
Men need to accept their sexual rudimentality, and discover for themselves what it is that gives them equivalency to the biological supremacy of woman.
It's the spiritual pre-eminence of man, - his head gear, - his spirituality, - which functions with his unique, intricate, particular giftedness, that gives man equivalency to woman in all her glory.
The only scenario that makes sense is that it is precisely because man is the image and glory of God, that such a glorious creature as woman should be made for him.
The beauty and power and perfection of God himself is what is the true essence of man.
When women fail to cover, they are either displaying their own ignorance of, or rebellion against, the Word of God, OR they are publicly wilfully dishonouring the spirituality of their men folk and denying the perfect work of Christ which has restored the image and glory of God and the dignity of manhood.
When a woman doesn't cover, it is also most likely that their man is not in possession of the truth about masculinity and femininity either.
I hazard a guess that most if not all the greatest preachers down the centuries since the Apostles, understood the efficacy of the head covering ordinance.
It is because women outshine men on the natural plain, and men are easily enticed by women.
And we are working out our salvation. And deferring to woman is how we got into this mess in the first place, which required Christ to come and die for us, that the head covering reverences all these issues.
I had a Christian woman I was courting, and I told her I wouldn't go to church with her if she didn't cover.
      I'm still unmarried.
It's my belief that Christian couples should get "divine order" which includes the head covering, well and truly sorted out before getting too heavily committed.

So which one is important ?
    1. Wearing a head scarf OR
    2. Having an honest relationship with God ? 🤔
    Answer: #2

    • @matriarchyh8r
      @matriarchyh8r 5 лет назад +3

      Mary Jane :-)
If you are really having an honest relationship with God you will also be having an honest relationship with men who you can see.
And if you are having an honest I.e. Truth loving relationship with God, you will eventually find the truth about masculinity and femininity, and divine order.
If you are unaffirmed in the glory of your femininity you will naturally want to sidestep proper relationship with men.
It can be a long hard battle to rediscover lost knowledge of how God made things, because we don't know how defiled we are with subtle lies.
Keep going, you'll be all right because the perfect work of Christ has restored the image and glory of God which is man, which includes woman in man.
If you are able to weed through what can seem like an almost insurmountable pile of garbage ideas, what you are left with authoritative statements from the word of God, but while you are under a mindset you will not be able or willing to embrace Truth.

I have a hard time believing God is behind such divisions. I've only ever seen it cause division. And it's always been the headcovering folks upset other Christians (at their church) don't follow their lead, their understanding of scriptures, etc. The scriptures say very clearly that a woman's long hair IS her covering. And I've never seen that fact cause divisons. Besides the scriptures don't support a focus on outward adornment or outward appearances. In fact it really discourages that kind of thing.

@blk5124, Here are a couple videos that you might find interesting:
Is Head Covering "Majoring in the Minors"? Is it a "Distraction from the Gospel"? ruclips.net/video/-6kIK6EdKFI/видео.htmlsi=OkXFwDCXJmgs0Gbj
      And
What is a Head Covering? Is it a Woman's Long Hair or a Veil? ruclips.net/video/XqzYQR2olF4/видео.htmlsi=z9bwwgA6u5-cVpWy
I would venture to say that the reason the teaching that a woman's long hair is her covering doesn't generate division is because it is very easy to accept and apply -- most women already have long-ish hair, so there is no need for them to change anything. Whereas, headcovering with a veil requires a woman to actually put something on which slightly changes her appearance and could cause her to feel uncomfortable. This would have been no problem before feminism made so many changes to our culture; but since then, many women have been reluctant to wear a visual symbol of the role which God designed for them, or to stand out in public . . . while those who do believe in headcovering with a veil may see those who don't cover as "unwilling to make a stand." And I think that is what causes the division.
      Hope the videos are helpful,
      ~Jessica

writings (a physical, hardcover book - not something passed along on the Internet) that briefly touched on women not wearing veils and that it shouldn't matter one way or another. These writings are over 500 years old. I've no idea where people try to tie this in with feminism. Yeah feminism has done some good early on and a whole lot of bad from thereon but we shouldn't ascribe things to feminism that happened WAY before - hundreds of years is a pretty huge gap. Just at a basic level, I honestly think it's strange he says hair is permanent. People can grow it to any length, cut it to stubble, or shave it off. Hair is easily changed. It's not permanent but I will try to follow his logic with a Concordance as a help when it comes to different words for the word covering.

I think the old KJV has done a lot to hid things....by no means do I think it intentional. But the bible does make allowances for people deliberately altering God's word.
The word saint conjures to us images of extremely pios individuals who's lives seem perfect. This has caused a lot of pain and lost in the body of christ as many are discouraged from practical godly living. The word saint simply means "set apart ". It means to live a life unlike that of the world. It means we must think and act differently.
What has been lost from the practicing believing life is this effort to resist worldly standards. No wonder this modern church world argue and resist not because they don't want to but the images and subtle feelings conveyed by a false light has built up an anti biblical view of the practical Christian life.
