Need to set up a "club twirl" counter and a "that's as good as I can hit right there" counter for your videos, folks be hammered playing drinking games with those 2 😂
I put a comment out there, but this should be THE channel….they should play the top 100 courses. And just don’t film any of the other stupid crap. Just these two. That’s it.
What makes Grant so good is his mindset. He doesn't get worried or flustered or concerned about much of anything...always pretty confident over every shot...even when he's playing against pro's....a lot of people would melt playing against Phil for instance but not Grant...he loves every minute of it. And in this video you can really see how worried Garrett gets at times...Grant just doesn't ever get flustered...even if he does make a triple.
Garrett man, I’m gonna say it again. It is beyond impressive to watch some struggle and then watch you persevere. To me, that’s what real golf is. Grinding out stroke play in a battle mainly against your own mind. You are both great golfers. Does Grant have an edge? Maybe. Maybe not. And even if you don’t come out on top at the end, you should beyond proud of being able at the young age of 24 to be in front of a camera with somewhere between 500k and 1M people watching. That’s wild man. And takes real composure, discipline and effort. This series has been a joy to watch thus far and has been a wonderful way to cap another wild year. Some of, if not the best, content out there. Congrats to you and your production teams on all of your success. Looking forward to watching you guys continue to grow. Best regards!
Very soon after I started playing golf 3 & 1/2 years ago, I came across GM golf, and have since seen every single one of your solo and match up videos. It was through you that I was introduced to Grant (for that matter Bryan Bros and Micah as well). In fact your California series is still my favorite. I'm 50 years old, and it's very difficult to swing it like the pair of youse, but your games are inspiring in the very best way. Watching you I thought the game was much easier than it is, and though I've still never broken 80, I always watch your videos before every round for the flow of your swings, and the good vibes of your personalities. That you're playing together a gain puts a big smile on my face. Thanks to each of you for teaching an old dog new tricks, and keep up the good (good) work - I don't take it for (G)ranted.
Honestly think Garrett should hit his driver at 85%, screw the distance, if you are going to hit fairways, you are going to win. He puts himself in such tough positions due to inconsistent drives, that he almost makes it easy for Grant. Take it easy big fella, your short game is tops, just need to slow down and find those fairways. You got this!!
Best birdie putt ive seen on YT....and great finishing birdie to break 80. Good caddie he was worth a stroke or two. Garret is one of the best on camera very natural and no rubbish. if he can just improve his game get him to join you with the BBros and occasionally PFinch when hes about.. well filmed as always by Sky and the crew
I can honestly say as an “Old Man”, I love all the golf videos, not only you guys but all the other RUclipsrs. With all the garbage on TV nowadays these are like little movies for me to watch everyday. Keep up the great job. If you have the time check out the “Old Man” make some hole in ones. Maybe one day “Old Man Golf” can take on you “Young Dogs”, I think you’d be surprised.
The road trip series was right around the time I was introduced to RUclips golf. It was probably my favorite series. Brings back the nostalgia watching this. Such a good series. Such a good duo. Love ya Grant and Garrett. Two legends that will be remembered for years
This series has warmed my heart. Watching these guys for years come back together to film this content is incredible. Hope to see more battles in the future!
By FARRRRR my two favorite people to watch golf. I absolutely LOVE you guys. If y’all ever decided to golf around the US like BustaJack did…… mannnn I’d be insanely happy, and watch every single video.
I did some work in Miami 20+ years ago and a group of us brought our clubs and played the Blue Monster while we were there...was a true test of golf. I'm enjoying seeing it again. This is a great series. Merry Christmas everyone!
I got it. G lives a lot in the past and Gr lives mostly in the present. G really likes to make bold predictions and tries to talk himself into good golf instead of getting out of his own way. He’ll learn, eventually. Good stuff guys. Thanks
Garret, all of us here resonate with you that's struggled through a tough round. But I'm sure most of us would fold under frustration. You kept your head up, smiled, and still carried on bringing great content. Unbelievable guy you are! Let's bring this home!
Please tell Garrett to relax like he did when he stopped trying to beat Grant at Streamsong. Once he relaxed, he lit up the back 9, played GREAT AND BARELY MISSED A PUTT or TWO to PLAY EVEN BETTER!!😮. We all know as golfers it's hard to get in that mindset, but once he did, he played GREAT! Just pull for ya pard, he'll pull for you and you'll both play better golf! The G&G Florida Series is just what the Doctor ordered to chill right before Christmas!!! Sorry about the book. Hope nobody falls 😴 asleep at the wheel of the golf cart?? Love you guys and all the family friendly content y'all provide. Thank y'all and GOD BLESS Y'ALL AND EVERYONE BEHIND THE SCENES MAKING IT HAPPEN. I WISH Y'ALL ALL THE BEST LIFE HAS TO OFFER! HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 AND A HAPPY 😃 NEW YEAR!!!!
dude's problem is that he has an unrealistic score expectations. he doesn' ttake the game serious enough and doesn't have a consistent enough swing and isn't NEARLY good enough on the greens. but he thinks he's a scratch golfer lol
@@jessehutchinson7539 he is a scratch golfer you tool. He can go to any normal course and shoot 69-74 which is considered scratch. Most scratch players from those tees would shoot 80-82. He played bad that day if he plays it 2-3 x he would shoot 76-78
Garret's heart felt speech about reading the comments has caused me to comment and I never ever comment on anything. This series is some of the best stuff I've ever watched like including tv and movies just great stuff for real keep this stuff coming.
Garrett wanted to say you have totally gotten my respect today. Can’t lie I’ve always been a fan of Grant’s and I don’t know something had me on the fence with you. I respected your golf game and the business side of you but now I respect you the man and person ! You have had some tough breaks today but you have kept a great smile and attitude through it all. I’ll enjoy watching you more going forward and I definitely think you would knock GH out in a boxing match without a doubt ! Thank you for all the entertainment you bring this old man by letting me “ride” along with you both on your journey of golf and life ! Merry Christmas to you both and your families ! Come play some golf in the Villages one day and let me tag along !
Garrett you are so right. It's great to see you guys fighting for even par on this champion courses insted of shooting 65 on your home courses. Thank you both for the great contend!
Love the New Zealand Idea - Queenstown has some BEAUTIFUL courses. Same with my home country, Australia. There would be plenty of golf courses that would Enjoy having you and the boys tour through there!!
Have absolutely loved every episode so far! I haven’t been this hooked to a series before. This is getting me through the holiday season, easily! Need more of the 1v1 battles!!
Garrett, remember to take your time! Focus on course management and avoid trying to hit the hero shot. You have the skills; it’s all about mental strength!
GoodGood has ruined his mentality toward the course. He goes for the best shot for entertainment over best shot for the scorecard. It’s still good golf, but could definitely be more score focused.
Words can’t express how much I’m enjoying this series guys. This is amazing to watch. And by the way…I just realized what a matter of perspective this whole series is. If I shot what both of you shot TOGETHER, I’d be bragging about it for years to come. You are both incredibly talented athletes, and you make me want to get better. Thank you both!
Garrett I’ve been pulling hard for you this entire series!!!!! But Grant is just playing unreal golf soooo hats off to him for sure. I miss you both playing together!!!! Good Good is not the same
I really like the call on the tips. Because it's golf, of course you both have stretches where you will struggle, but you always get the opportunity to reel it back in. It's fun to see what you're made of when the struggle doesn't end. Because we've been there, and it's an integral part of golf's life lesson. We used to play my home course from the tips at 7439 all year long (that's in northwest yards), and the winter conditions made for some brutal lessons. It made us learn to be better humans.
Wisconsin has got to be the next stop. Erin Hills, Whistling, Blackwolf Run, Lawsonia, Sand Valley, U Ridge, Sentry World. Can't Beat it. Washington County, Troy Brune, and the Bull Super underated
Gosh i love watching this. Just have to let you know, i owe all of you so much for inspiring not just me but my kids, i have had so many wonderful memories with my boys thanks to all of yall.
Had to pause the video real quick just to say that Grant would get absolutely smoked in that boxing match. Love watching this series, hope you guys took some time to soak all this in. These kinds of trips are really special and as life changes I hope you look back at times and experiences like this with a full heart.
You two should do this at least twice a year! You guys have always been SUPER entertaining together. Great RUclips material. Keep it coming G and G!!!!
Love this Florida match series! Friends and I were already planning to play Streamsong in Feb and we're now also scheduled to play Cabot after seeing your match. Thanks, Guys!
I'm really enjoying this "memory lane" video. Watched your original California road trip when it came out. Really like the friendship you guys have. Looking forward to the rest of this and the next road trip. Merry Christmas.
I'm with Garrett minus the coffee part. Cold Pizza is BY FAR THE GREATEST BREAKFAST YOU CAN EVER EAT!!! Especially if its like a meat lovers or something like that
Yeah his brain gets in the way of his tallent. It's kinda obvious. Like Grant has been breaking through that by playing all these realllly tough courses with the Bryan bros doing the cut series so he is kinda ready for this
@@OrthodoxyChronicles his timing is all screwed up because he is overthinking too much about not hitting the wrong shot. You could see that when he was working with the coach before the creator cup. When you are just playing, trusting your line and shot, it'll work out far more often. When you are thinking about what not to do, more often than not, that's what you'll end up doing. It creates a timid swing and throws off your timing.
Awesome series i havent been waiting on youtube videos to drop in a long time. Been excited about these. Grant and Garrett together is so cool to see!!
Bandon Dunes is a MUST!!! Would love to see y’all do something like this out there. Bandon is a slice of golf heaven! Thank you for this series. It’s been awesome!!!
I saw someone recommend AZ and I like that. Not from there, but I’ve visited a ton with my best friend and his wife living first in Scottsdale, now in PHX. I’m from MI, so I’ve only been during Fall/Winter, but that’s perfect since this is when they do it. It’s also not a far drive from Vegas, so they could do both. People who live there will know better than me about AZ in general, but I know there’s plenty of great courses in Scottsdale/PHX area, great Winter weather, and Vegas speaks for itself. They’d have a million choices from AZ to Vegas, awesome restaurants, etc.
Grant! Currently deployed over seas with the Army and your videos have truly been so great for me to watch while I’ve been over here. Loving this series. As well as anything you do with the Bryan bros. Keep up the good golf my brother, and may God bless you and the wife this holiday season and new year 🙏🙌
That future road trip series sounds amazing! Id love to see Sc added to the list. Not only do we have Solina but lots of great courses in Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach
Love the road trip series. I think you guys should do a New England trip. Maybe start with some mountain golf in NH/VT, move over to Cape Cod for some rounds out there (Willowbend is fantastic), then finish in Rhode Island. We have some amazing private courses here (point Judith, Shelter Harbor, etc.)
Great idea playing the Monster all the way back. It’s a lot more entertaining than a birdie fest/ easy course. Amazing putt on 17 Garrett to keep it interesting! Good steady consistent play (and great birdie on 18) to break 80 Grant! Enjoying the series! Love seeing a really tough course for you guys.
We're always rooting for you, G. I don't want anyone to lose. How could you ever root against a dude like Grant. But I want you to make a hot streak comeback. Let's go.
One of the best putts I’ve ever seen, that was crazy! The excitement of that putt followed by the heartbreak of the next tee shot, this is game of thrones level content.
Garrett, that was some good fight. I think the general golfer has been there and can relate to your pain. Grant is a beast though, he is playing with some high level golfers which brought his game to another level. Something tells me tough that this will end closer than Im expecting. Love the series keep up tge good work. Grant and Garrett are the A team of youtube golf.
I turned this video on and then played the Blue Monster on Awesome Golf along with y'all, I shot a 77, of course I didn't have to put those slick greens. Great series look forward to the rest of the Road Trip....
That was one of the most fun videos to watch. Normally I enjoy watching the videos that are places I wish I could play, that was one I don't. But fun to watch guys better than me do so.
Super series, and nice to see you not being able to get par5 in 2 every time, relateable. And Garreth you will get it back, just play your own game. I think it's typical that when you are pushed by your opponent you start to force shots, and thats when missplacement occurs. Merry Christmas.
Garrett’s put on 17 was absolutely unreal so glad it got that. Also great playing from Grant, showing his calm and always consistent play. So hyped for the next episode!
Run it back in AZ! So many great courses here!! Garret, I saw you back in the day at Dobson Ranch. Yelled at you and the crew on 11. Not the time you hit the dude in 1. Way before that.
That's great content again guys, thanks a lot ! And after having watched so much videos with Garret playing, I think - like he said on the 17th - that he should never expect any result before executing his shots... Doing that I guess he would be scoring better. But still it is really coooool golf and friends' trip, thx
This was fun! 8,000 yards is no joke
Garrett takes Grant in a boxing match all day long and twice on Sunday 😎
After the 2nd hole, they momentarily had Garrett at +3!! 💯🇺🇲😱 . Was that foreshadowing?? #Break90 watch.
Poor course management really rears its ugly head when playing at that yardage.
Need to set up a "club twirl" counter and a "that's as good as I can hit right there" counter for your videos, folks be hammered playing drinking games with those 2 😂
do BC, Canada next. a lot of great mountain courses, not PGA style but very scenic and challenging
Caddy: just pull this putt and throw your putter in the water.
Grant: I like that a lot.
lol perfect
😂
So funny, I love this line, I love sand... Perfect
then club twirls
Boy, that last read was spot on...good caddy!
i hope you both know how happy this series is making me. so much passion and energy. i’m going to be sad when it’s over

I think that easy mindset is coming from countless hours of hitting balls, golf ain’t stressful for him anymore
Garrett is thinking 5 shots ahead where Grant only thinks of the next shot. I think hanging out with the Bryan bros has improved his mental game
Yea this is false lol
lol
@langeroony35 , agree...but Wes can really get in his head!

The putt on 17 is one of the best I've ever seen. Without a doubt.
Did you see Grants “better than most” Tiger putt on 17 at TPC?
I really thought it was going to end up in the long grass past the fringe. To my surprise it makes the turn and goes in. Said it was 80’ just wild.
He is consistently outstanding on long puts.
These two playing together, brings back memories. Greatest golf duo on RUclips, hands down. Love watching the golf trips and battles! FIRES ME UP

I swear Garret needs a stiffer shaft, it's like he's using a senior flex. I think he'd get rid of that snap draw he has.
Garrett would be decent if he’d relax. He still is in the phase of loving saying “I have 162, I’m going pitching wedge”. Like Jesus Christ bro
He plays a 6x ventus doesnt really get much stiffer than that.
He has been fit by ther best fitters used by Tour Pros -- he has right equipment. He just has to swing smoother and not trying to hit it 330
Yeah that must be it cause if you slow down the play time , slow mo he really must be hamdsy cause that twig whips quite a bit
Grant's game this series is the best I've seen it in the 3 years I've been watching. The tempo is absolutely locked in.
It’s lots of fun to watch you guys play. I don’t golf, but I have enjoyed watching all of your rounds.
Grant! Currently deployed over seas with the Army and your videos have truly been so great for me to watch while I’ve been over here. Loving this series. As well as anything you do with the Bryan bros. Keep up the good golf my brother, and may God bless you and the wife this holiday season and new year 🙏🙌
First time I've watched youtube golf in a while but have to catch this series...bringing back the vibes!
I enjoy watching both of you. Always find myself pulling for Garrett, especially on goodgood
Merry Christmas Garret and Grant, me and my 8 year old son just love your golf channels, keep it going we really enjoy all of it!!!
Great content! Love to see the struggles that us regular golfers go through and how you both handle.
Binge watched all the 5 episodes so far! Great series.
I turned this video on and then played the Blue Monster on Awesome Golf along with y'all, I shot a 77, of course I didn't have to put those slick greens. Great series look forward to the rest of the Road Trip....
Garrett, I'm still rooting for you. You've got this. Would love to see you guys come up to Michigan and see some courses we have here.
Best RUclips golf series of 2024 hands down. Keep it up!
Garrett...thank you for helping me with my driver. I started holding my hands lower in my set up which really got my back swing in a better position.!
"That is a man that is contemplating a decision that was made...." Great line, Grant! I'm on hole 5, and still with you Garrett!
love watching you guys handicapping yourselves playing it as hard as you can make it
Run it back in AZ!
North Carolina
1: Tobacco Road
2: Tot hill farm
3. The Cardinal by Pete Dye
4: Cutter Creek CC
5-8: Pinehurst Golf Courses
Loving the series G and G, loving the camaraderie also. That course was a beast
Grant has to be the best 5-foot-and-in putter I've ever seen. Every single one is straight in the back of the hole.
