Hey I have a question, so the thing is, I have a bit older HP Elitbook workstation that Im using it just for work, Acad drawing.. so last two days I heard that computer is kind a silent usualy is laud as an army tank. Today when I wanted to do some jobe emediately when I powored up got same notion as you said fen 90b... I opened removeble cover on the bottom and cerfule cleaned with a compresed air and after powered up notion got off fan also spining as it should and the sound of "tank" is back the question is did I need to be cerfule on some things or is now just ok, I know that my laptop is about 8yo but since working great for my job I will not replace them til it will work fine.
You can clean the fan regularly, but is a good idea to replace the thermal paste every 1-2 years. The fan is loud because the CPU is hod due to old paste, and it trying to cool it down. Otherwise everything should be ok.
For some reason I can’t even open the back of my laptop complete I take out all the clips and screws and it seems like something is holding it in the middle From completely opening
The fan was not replaced, just brushed out the dust. 90b error is due to fan not working properly on power up. It it doesn't spin at full on the power on, the system gives a 90b error.

Usually in the middle there is a bigger plastics clip like anchor. Try to pull a bit harder, if you are sure you did remove all the screws.
we didnt see in the video that the fan was cleaned, was it not replaced?
