  • A dead, hard leaning pine tree removal. Pole gaffs made a HUGE impact on my climbing and work positioning since i made the switch from tree gaffs. I really struggled to get good work positioning and stay balanced with tree gaffs on situations like this before. Thanks for watching everyone! See ya on the next one!

Wicked video jman, you know its weird I used pole gaffs forever until I got my European tree gaffs, and there actually really good and bent to shit but I still use em lol, loved the beginning man hilarious 🤣, stay safe brotha 💯🤟

🤣🤪🤠! Clowning around is all im good at it seems really 🤡. Glad you liked it brother! I'd like to try the European gaffs and see how they do, they look like it'd be better then traditional tree gaffs but not quite better on small diameter stuff like where the pole gaffs shine. Each tool has its place i suppose. Be safe! See ya on the next one!

Hey thanks brother! I truly appreciate it, and glad you liked it! I'm trying to shift more over to gear reviews when I feel it of value and comedic tree entertainment overall and less tree action "look at me" kinda vids in this case it was old footage I didn't want to waste but didn't feel it was all that good either. Made lemonade out of the lemons though! I always appreciate your support, you're too kind! See ya on the next one!

Lol hell yeah sign back up for your virtual gym membership here! Thanks for the love! And as far as the tree it's quite possible the beatles yes, but I don't recall seeing evidence . There was a large hollow at the base and evidence of carpenter ants but I mean I've seen trees in worse shape appear healthy so I wonder about salt burn from them fertilizing that small patch of grass we used as the DZ but I'm no pine whisperer so they don't tell me their secrets usually. I always just say it had a bad case of the rickets and people agree "oh rickets ya, she had to go then eh friends ya"!

Why pole gaffs over the tree gaffs. Leaners creepe out but I deff have long tree spikes. Like 2½ inchs

Lol yeah please don't! I may pick up a set of pads for mine to use again someday but for now they sit naked and alone in the garage to rest their tired shanks. Ive been surprised by pole gaffs at how with a little precision you can navigate some pretty thick bark ridges.. Thanks for the love brother! See ya on the next one!

Thank you Scoot! You could repurpose the tree gaffs for rotisserie chickens over the fire pit at lunch time. If you had tree gaffs and actually took a lunch break that is.

Some guys can climb pretty damn awsome with tree gaffs still but I'm not one of em. That tree there i would of had a very hard time keeping upright and balanced enough to start the saw even lol. It always felt like the spikes were 2 ft long and gravity was gonna pull me over under. Thanks for watching brother! I'll see you around! Stay safe!

Dude! Should have laid it out in the lake as a whole unit and hooked up that little dingy by the dock and drug it out in the middle of the lake as a habitat....floating lake tree😂
Great editing joshman! You put a mean STEP 4 on that bad mamma slamma! All while looking so comfortable in your new spikes🤙🏼

Lol thanks brother! Or we could have waited for a frozen lake, sent it out there, skid it out a ways, set it on fire, and run like hell back to shore. Shoot we'd of had to cut the price down though cause that'd be too much fun! Thanks for the love always my fellow STEP 4-nacator! See ya on the next one! Be safe!
