I would suggest to any shooters new or old always run a brush or patch or both before you go shooting new gun or old gun cause I have found crap that gets in there it’s life if it can happen it more than likely at some point will happen been shooting since I was 4 or 5 years old yup my dad and gramps had me out early which I’m very grateful for and I had my kids out that young and I’m 62 years old now so I have slung a lot of lead in my day always check your equipment before doing anything work shooting anything
