Thanks for the simple procedure, did my 2018 GLS 450 and was wondering about all this talk regarding battery registration/reset on youtube. Do I need to do anyting else? I have a Foxwell NT510 scanner but don't see any options to perform any of these functions. . I personally don't think it's necessory. Thanks again for the video

Well, don't mean to be picky but not very informative. Like for instance, there is a plastic cover and a vent that are originally wedged on top of the battery and they are not easy to remove. I would have liked to see how you did that. This video shows a Mercedes that has already been partially dismantled!
@@slliks67 shoud be located under the rear seats. You will have to remove seats to get to it. But first check your owners manual before you start removing seats and panels.

I can make a video on that it's pretty easy to remove. Move your seat forward and just pult it out on a angle. Thx for letting me know that.
The 1st time you do it, it's a pain, but after that you learn you just gotta line it up and it will go in.

10mm should work on the battery terminals and the rest is plastic clips

skipped the most important part. you just removed the battery, edited.
Once u moved the seat up and forward you'll see what needs to be done to remove the battery
Wasted time driving, backing out & talking. Skipped how to remove the components, move the seat, put them back. Fluff piece
