Tibooburra, when the weather is kind, it grabs you by the heart strings.I have been there numerous times over the years, Jeffries flat where the wind never stops blowing.Over the years since the old Garrett VL F days the area has seen plenty of foot traffic.There was a big area to the south now closed but was open in my day,had a place called billy goat hill ,saw plenty of good size nuggets come out of there in the oz size.Turn at Milperinka and head west .The gold that’s left there around Tib looks incredibly small, 7000 pieces for 7oz, anyway it’s the fun of the chase.Good luck, and think shirt bars North of Jeffries flat.Cheers Greg
