So you don’t need 8k xp in reduced.. so it’s easier lol (If u just get reduced every week it’s purple, which is what I thought it was before I did my math wrong. Leaving video up because the first half took way to long to justify deleting it)
Good video brother! In reality, although 2025 is prettier, everyone is excited about it. For the first time there is interest in a medal, surely blue and purple are quite common since everyone wants to level up in 2025 for the Karambits. Personally I prefer 2024, a year when everyone criticized CS2 and everyone wanted to leave the game or not play, there were even problems such as false VAC, PC crashes, "few" people playing, many criticizing and stopping playing or not giving it importance and above all everything is the last medal in CSGO and the first in CS2. The 2015 medal is famous for its rarity, not its beauty. 2025 will be beautiful but never strange. 2024 in good colors will definitely be very rare in the future that's why I got the pink medal (level 5) this year ;).

damn, i started 2024 with 40 but only got purple medal +8 levels at the end. if i didnt have alt accounts and fully locked in, maybe i could have hit pink. congrats on that. still, some of us have xp boosts saved so red might be possible to get legit..

Basically the year starts on a Wednesday and if you win 16 matches a week you get xp overload. If you do this every week you get 118.25 levels. You need 40 levels for each service medal and you can refer to 0:22 for a picture of each medal color. He’s just saying to give you a head start you can save your level 40 from this year and wait till new years and use it then.
Honestly valve just needs to change the service medal xp where red service medal is actually obtainable if you grind enough without the use of old operation xp packs cant even get half of the service medals even if you grind to reduced xp and then some every week even if they reduced the amount of xp needed you would still have to grind hella to actually get the red one but at least it would actually be obtainable if the work is put in so its still worth something for the people who want to actually grind and play enough for it without having to use xp packs from old operations with a chance of still not possibly getting it kinda pointless to have it in the game at all if you cant even reach it grinding to max xp every week for the whole year
there is no limit on xp per week. you just have to keep going with a reduced multiplier or use xp boosts if you want to get high level service medals. if they were easy to obtain it would make them less cool and desirable.
@chocolates182 how is that a skill issue when it's literally unobtainable not only that it doesn't take skill to earn xp just a fuck ton of time you could be the worst player and still earn a lot of xp if you play a lot lmfao
