This deck is perfect for spring. 🎉 I recently bought When My Soul Whispered and the Universal Folk Oracle so I won't pick this one up right now. But glad to have it on my radar.

Thank you for your videos, as they really help us decide on which decks to purchase. Thank you also for caring about diversity in race, ethnicity, and gender. One aspect of diversity that I don't think gets a lot of notice is age. While these illustrations are very beautiful and dreamy, they mostly feature very youthful-looking females. Nothing wrong with that, but I guess it's just because I'm "over the hill" now that I am starting to notice this more. It can make an older person feel left out. I do love the animals and plants, as well as the artistic style. The message was helpful for the card you pulled. I think the creator would do well to make a new deck with keeping some of our suggestions in mind. 💖
This cards are beautiful!😍I love the sassy looking fantasy elfs and their fluffy animal friends. The guidebook seems very good. I just wish the cards had more keywords or meaning instead for just a title. But the cards have such lovely spring wibe so I think I will order it. This is so my kind of artwork!! ~soft, pastel and just so darn cute ~ So many fairies & furry friends (Ha). I like when cards are numbered instead of alphabetical-much easier to find in the book. The whole time I am crossing fingers - "please be a good guidebook...." Thanks for always reading a bit from the book, it helps me decide. Beautiful.
I love it! I had spotted it on their website and fell in love with what few cards it showed but now I love it even more and it's definitely on my "to buy" list! Hopefully soon! As beautiful as the artist's work is, he should speak to the marketing department. To have those "diverse" cards shown on the box and the cover of the book makes it seem like the deck would be more diverse than it actually is. That's kind of deceptive and disappointing. I bought a new oracle deck recently where the guidebook had a person of color on the cover of the book but when I went through the deck the that image was not included at all! And no other diverse images. It was clear that it was an afterthought. This deck reminded me of that. It's ok to have all pale and light haired figures in a deck if that's what you like to draw, but don't try to be "diverse" at the final hour before publishing. That's basically worse.
How doi you really feel about this deck. I was still thinking of getting and oracle with witches deck but this Light & Dreams oracle is calling out to me. Would you suggest this one. How does it read with the book. Let me know. Im all excited about this deck but i am tempted also with the Witching Hour oracle. Which one would you suggest. 😊❤
But fae and elfs are cultural mythic creatures...english, celtic, irish, german ! So why that culture should be colonised ? I would love to buy it for my niese )
The deck is absolutely gorgeous but it could definitely use a little more diversity and not put most of said cards at the back of the deck. The only thing I really don't like are the card names. They don't tell you much, so minus any intuitive hits the art or names give you, you're somewhat dependent on the guidebook to make sense of the cards.
Cards are beautiful. But can't really be used. Doesn't have a lot of messages. & The text isn't that deep to keep referring the book. Why can't people have beautiful cards with useful words..
I guess my question is….why does every artist have to be “diverse” . Maybe that isn’t what they intend their work. And secondly would you review something like the Afro Goddess deck……the Hoo Doo Tarot deck and say something about the lack of diversity in those decks.
So my take on it is, if it is a deck that isn't based on one specific cultural thing, like the decks you mentioned or say a Celtic deck, then I always like to see diversity and I mention it because when people watch my videos, they look for that as well. That includes skin tone, different body sizes and genders. It's important because representation matters. Divination is for everyone so everyone should feel comfortable using a deck. Hopefully that makes sense.

If you want diversity make a deck yourself to represent everyone and everything and don’t expect it from others.

It’s really pretty, but with all of 4 BIPOC people in a whole deck and no gender or body diversity, it’s a pass for me. It’s sad when something is so artistically done, but leaves out so much of humanity.
