Bingo but it's randomized with objectives on a 5 x 5 square board & getting a bingo gives an absurd amount of extra spins.
Both start with a tecu salamander and unlimited ammo 3 hours to make as much as possible and completing a list of items. Each item checked off is a randomiser chest and the gold made can be used for food pots and to finish the setup. Blighted food pots and spell sacks banned from final fight.
5 konar tasks, 10 randomizer spins for each brimstone key (keep all wearable drops for final fight)
*Potion Panic - Miniseries of Madness*
At the end of an episode just before the battle each participant can use any potions or similar temporary statboosting items that they have gained in the progression. Any such level boost can be taken into the next episode in the form of actual levels. For example: at the end of the progression you have an attack level of 11. You take one dose of the attack potion you gained, which would give you a +4 boost up to 15, not just for the fight. Before the next progression episode these levels can be gained for free. It is up to you to argue whether the monastery's plus one to prayer should count, or whether bizarre ales in bier glasses are to be considered potions. (I think they should be, opens more options.)
Winner of each fight can pick one potion of their choice (possibly limit the selection to: attack, strength, defence, magic, range) to take into the next episode.
_Reasoning:_ Fast progression, balancing of normal leveling, statboost, and inventory for the fights.
_Limitations:_ As leveling would be fast and the time spent to gain boosted levels between episodes, especially as multiple skills can be boosted, would rise exponentially the runtime of this series should probably be limited to five episodes or fewer.
*The Veto Skill Challenge* (Series Idea)
Each episode the other participant can Veto one combat skill including prayer and excluding constitution as well as two non-combat skills. A participant may not gain xp in these skills for the duration of the episode. The same skills cannot be vetoed twice in a row.
_Reasoning:_ Forced variation between episodes. Not limited to one combat style for an entire series. Unpredictability rewarded.
_Limitations:_ Limiting a single melee combat style does not have as much effect as magic or range. one can consider grouping them.
I am fully convinced that Rargh at no point has any idea what he is doing
As a Team Linker, I assure it knowing the right thing to do and flopping is more painful than not knowing and succeeding

I like them trying out new things but more thought could have gone into designing the challenge. The early monsters were all irrelevant.

I had to roll back and look at the numbers when I heard that, no way did that help lmao. At least the specs go off Slash either way
Would love to this this challenge again wtih some variation. Maybe allow for locking in the weapon or alllow weapon spins to stack all video and only spin for the weapon at the end so you don't know what weapon you have till after the rest of your setup is sorted.

Defo, they pretty much only drop rings and gloves apart from super rare rune and dragon spear drops at like 1/131,072 for the rune spear and even rarer the dragon at 1/349,525 😂

You should try this again but the item only counts towards spins once, so you can't go to monsters unless they have something unique on their drop table and you can't keep getting bronze boots for half an hour.
pretty sure slash woulda been better, yeah his crush def is bit lower but the slash bonus is way higher than the crush, but i could be wrong. this was a fun one

Rargh had to be high as a kite to keep looking at the rolls as much as he did
Took like 30 seconds for me to realize its 1 roll per tier until you get to addy+, then two rolls per tier

Not sure you need ideas, but just a thought for a vid using the gear randomizer. Start with a set amount of spins (a fair few), and you can spin your gear, BUT you have to earn the money for that gear in a set time, and if you don't make the money, you lose that slot.
Makes for some interesting tactics on how good you go on the gear
so link didnt count his rune darts as a weapon for 8 rolls, but rargh is counting mith darts to roll his weapon?
I feel like Mory is actually amazing here because of the crawling hands dropping massive amounts of rings and gloves which are rare slots to get from other monsters, while still giving pretty decent bonuses, especially when you consider how quick you can kill them
Edit: Guess those slots weren't included in the amount of spins given, which is fair I suppose

Then we fight, each person starts with 10 spins. And fight, lobsters only, if you die you get 10 more rolls. To try and get better gear, and beat opponent. First to 5 wins. WINS. Kind if like opposite gun game.

you guys should get more people involved and do a tournament style knock out with the different players perspectives.

was there an exception to zamorak robe bottoms/top? Cause that would seem like a great idea, first get shield/weapon/helm, then just kill those for body/legs only...
If you do this again, you should have a list of monsters you have to kill or something so you can't concentrate on one particular monster that only drops particular items and allows you to avoid having to roll other items. You gotta be FORCED to risk your best kit!
Rargh should know by now weapon is king, stopping on dds is wild especially not even p++. I liked the video, definitely a cool idea for randomizer.

I feel like this should have been like 20 or 30 min quick segments where you rotate a bunch of random areas going for one equip slot at a time. Like first zone for helmet, and the highest tier helm you find is rune so you get 8 spins (or maybe more since you'd probably balance it differently). Just a thought, the spinning was a bit hectic.

if you hop in when they stream on youtube they often do faster then we fights with people from chat, usually involving clue scroll solving and randomizer stuff in big team style battles

1 minute in and already love the concept of the challenge!
Quests then we fight: fresh level 3s on pvp world, every qp is a spin on randomizer 3hours most questpoints gets extra spins, can't use ge but you can ask random players to help, ragging each other is allowed each death is -2 spins, at the start of challenge there's a immunity timer of 15mins

Haven't finished watching. But wouldn't crawling hands be a good option to grab barrows gloves? And they drop rings if I remember making it possible to get ring of suffering (ri)?

Link should have killed Crawling Hands for the latter half of the first area, they only drop gloves and rings, which are also probably fairly rare slots to roll for in addition to not risking a weapon (unless you hit a 1/131k RDT Rune Spear or something). Unless those slots didn't count.

6:50 dragon darts are so powerful yet you are so predictably unaware of anything somehow, you just spin beyond them without thinking. Arma Skirt and Dragon Darts instead he has Dragon Axe and Mory Legs by 7:22

There was too much randomness in this one. You should have had the ability to lock slots at least. Otherwise no kills mattered except for the ones that happen towards the end.

This is a braindead take. The whole point of the challenge was being forced to choose which slots to risk. Rargh decided he was going to keep his plate no matter what, and made that happen, putting other slots at risk. Link tried the same with his bgs, and it made for one of the better episodes
