He just grew up. not surprising considering the mess up shit he been through. It wasn’t what the tv show led people to believe. It’s a satire on how child hood actors grow up into mess up adults. Some get their shit together but are still mess up. Look up Disney and child actor. Or the poster child for : HOME Alone . He did turn his life around. But it got dark.
fun fact, they used the fluffy butterfly outfits in a flashback of Gary being kidnapped by the monarch in season 6 obviously a easter egg to this pilot
@@jorgefuentes5237 if I recall correctly, fluffy uniforms were cut out due to animation difficulty. Just to hard on the animators. So they streamlined the design. But they later said fluffy outfit were for newbies. Afterwards they get the usual uniforms we see later.
If I recall a deleted scene from either season 2 or season 3 has Dean actually discovering the meteor and opening the hatch only to be horrified when looks inside.
i wished they went with a darker rusty but they stripped all the drugs and instability and gave it to Johnny ques- er johnny action Hes less of a failed boy wonder andd more of just we weird ass doctor now who has dumb brain when the plot needs.
I've read a decent amount of silver age comics, and damn if the Monarch's monologue doesn't sound just like one a villain would give in one of those. One where the bad guy essentially narrates his dastardly plan to himself. Weird hearing it spoken out loud, but it almost goes without saying that he pulls it off.
Legends have it that they are still there to this.... Oh wait yeah gargantuan 2 well they died fast Although logic would have it that they would had died slowly in about a week If Brock didn't find them and killed them even more brutally and then seasons later for them to come back painfuly as zombies
name mcname All of these animations were done back before 2001, the reason why it takes so long to pump out seasons now is that they've had their staff pretty much cut down to the point where it's two people writing scripts and about 5 animators, that's why it's been 2 and a half years since the last season
Oh I never said I didn't, it's not even that the production takes long or anything to do with the animation, it's the script and it's wordplay, that's why if you've caught a new season when it comes out some of the punchlines are rather outdated, not by a massive distance but far enough to tell that it's at least 4 months past it's prime time, I love The Venture Brothers, unlike ATHF I hope this continues into the future.
Because people forget that budget is a thing, especially back in 2002 when this was mad and Adult Swim had barely any money and have been spoiled by anime and the like.

That or he had already gone but knew he’d need to go again in future
Just the farts should be enough to wipe out the occupants 🤣
This show really used to be “what if a boy adventurer grew up to be a giant failure”
that's been pretty consistent the whole time.
He just grew up. not surprising considering the mess up shit he been through. It wasn’t what the tv show led people to believe.

There is also the time hank wore one of the old outfits
Also at the battle of cremation creek
I always thought of them as old outdated uniforms

Wut? Is it on RUclips or will I have to buy the dvd?
@@themachoechidnaugandarandy7583 it was uploaded. anyway dvd/bluray sets have lots of content on them
I love how they referenced the pilot's design for the old uniforms with Hank's disguise in the wedding battle
Man they really had Rusty hopped up on them meds bad in the pilot
Diet pills specifically
@@skullman-us7wn I.e. amphetamines.

@@lubu4u312 they made him a sex addict instead.
@@lubu4u312 I think he still eats those diet pills a lots in canon, not as bad as Johnny though.
Oh my god; the mouth movement; it's just randomly opened and closed. They've come a long way on the animation....

I love the old janky animation :D
1:46 the way he’s says it
Wasn't this the pilot that never ended up being used?
Correct.
I saw it an Adult swim, so it was aired.
it ran on adult swim a few times, they just never aired it along side the shows canonical run

A Guy name Lex but... what did they do about poo poos?!
@@TheStopShort well....they had to eat something I don't know
There was a deleted scene in a later season, Dean found the meteor and long story short the inside smelled horrible for many reasons
I don't know what's more baffling: That there was one door or that the Monarch never checked in on them.
I liked when the show was animated thia way
This is why you're supposed to go before missions.
dr girlfriend looked like a gremlin
wowwwwwww the s1 animation and voices XD
Such an under rated show .
Brock literally looks the same
What ARE they gonna do about poo poos?
Whats with the animation? Is this part of the pilot?

It's because this was animated in Adobe flash, whereas the latter seasons were animated traditionally.
Was so confused until I realized this was the pilot
I miss Flash animation
man the monarch looked rough in the pilot
Dr. Girlfriend had it worse I think but at least the voice was still there
Yeesh the animation back then was rough
I like they reused the costume ideas in the show later on.
Rip venture bros
That is a fuzzy butterfly suit
it's crazy that venture bros started out as an adult swim show
What do you mean?
Why does this animation feel or look like a cartoon made by Taco Bell?
I still contend that the pilot episode was the best episode of all
The wink Dr.Girlfriend gives him, lol
Wow... its just... how things changed.
Yes, it all changed because he's your brother
The early stuff was best. I liked the rough animation. But I still love all of it.
The Animation looks like flash Animation!
Why are so many people calling this animation “bad”? It looks pretty average. I think the much better animation later on just spoiled people, haha.
Because people forget that budget is a thing, especially back in 2002 when this was mad and Adult Swim had barely any money and have been spoiled by anime and the like.
Kind of want the original episodes to get reanimated
Dr Girlfriend had an adamsapple, explains the voice in the pilot atleast and I know it's the smoking in later seasons. I know that.
To Adult Swim... the best show.
I don't know. What ARE we going to do about poo-poos?
So the scenes from the first intro came from this original pilot?
Yups
I hope their skeletons make the movie
any asking piolt
Nothing wrong with the original
Wtf is this bad acid trip?
Part of the original pilot
Is this a pilot?
Not Kirbys best work
Gosh this animation was stilted. But if was the start of something great
Classic television
Oh my god it looked so bad
Holy cow, this animation is absolute garbage.
