The amount of people at the event is actually insane. Shows that Niantic has quite a fan base that will pay so much
To be fair, this was in Japan where pokemon is a massive deal. London doesn't have nearly as many rn, and I doubt NY will have the same either.
and the next thing is its at least 60% content creatirs that have the money aniways to go there. I dont think its a lot of poeple from outside of japan that are not creators😢

@deuceex1492 That's just for the ticket. Unless you live in the host city, you need money for food, shelter, travel, and more. I myself am going to NY and the total is around $2500. Not cheap, but some creators get their trip payed for by niantic.
@@gavanator7 NY will have more than London for sure. The US is the biggest (or second biggest after Japan) playerbase for PoGo

As someone who was at London yesterday, the events couldn't have been more different regarding weather. Literally raining and thunder in London (standard English Summer) and blistering heat in Japan...
Wondered why we got a warning mid Go Fest about heat stroke when it couldn't have been wetter!

I was lucky enough to get the shiny unown ! Today while walking around Osaka. Also had a wild encounter with you, you just caught up with your friends. I didn’t say hi as you looked busy
I was at the London go fest earlier today… it rained SO MUCH!! I still caught 57 shinies overall though, most notably a shiny rayquaza, shiny Pikachu with the hat, two shiny cresselia back to back, shiny Lucario, as well as many other crazy spawns. Overall, a not-so-great park experience, but an outstanding city one!!!!

I was in Brockwell Park London, Saturday morning, and the weather was horrible. Got like 3 shiny during the park event, one of them was the shiny costumed pikachu which is really nice. Took a photo with Brandon at the entrance, and it was good to taste some new experience as first time Go Fest. After Park, I went off to the hotel instead of going to the city experience. I opened my laptop and spoofed all the way through London. Because it was very rainy, cold, hard to walk with all the people around and didn't get enough shiny during the park. I spoofed like another 34 shiny from my hotel room. That was a blast. So for me, I will never go to a Go Fest again.. I spent a lot of money to go to London and the stay and all, and the shiny rate is not that great. Can't barely walk and catch, it was too busy. But good for experience. Next Go Fests, I buy the tickets, and spoof them all from home. It's way more efficient. In my opinion, if you go once, you don't have to go again.
I ended on 51 shinies at GoFest London, so many new ones including Seviper, Heracross and a Hundo Cressalia. Love your content man

London go fest was my first pogo event and i had a blast, but the unown spawns were really bad :( got like 2-3 max each time!! And i agree the remote raid limit was a bit painful haha..
I did get the shiny explanation point unown though and 2 shiny rays! 86 shinies in total this weekend

There were actually special event 7 km eggs avalible for ticket holders at both London and Osaka with Heracross, Petilil, Galarian Darumaka, Sigilyph, Dedenne and Dewpider in them.
Wild how many stops are near each other. Made a few stops near me but nothing showed up cause i think they were near other stops, makes no sense.

Shiny hint in Norway Porsgrunn downtown you can also do raids whit many people you dont know

I got a shiny petilil 1st try then backed out bc of how similar it is to the normal one I saw the sparkles for a split second and had a heart attack bc i was in the can but thankfully I could re encounter it and catch it

Probably everything I do in pogo is pretty avarage but you really have the luck every day doing the most special thing
Glad I’m not the only one upset about the raid limit especially people like me who live in rural areas where the only way I get legendaries is in remote raids so the limited time ones there’s virtually no chance for shiny:(

Niantic really needs to do GOFest during months where the weather is cool. Might be difficult to coordinate but doing it middle of Summer is kinda bad idea especially for countries where the humidity is high
or just arizona where the average temperature per day is 115-120 smfh

I was in London for the event, my very first in person go fest. Caught 73 shinies over 2 days including 4 legendary, satchel aerodactyl and 2 shiny pikachu in crowns. My sister got a shiny unown ! which is insane!!!! So much fun even despite the absolute horrid weather that started our park experience. Amazing event

I got shiny from egg before iglybuff that’s the only shiny from egg 🥚 hatch but go fest this year is fire 🔥 I’m excited and ready for go fest I don’t live in London New York or Osaka so I will wait for august 26 and 27 but you videos are fire 🔥 keep it up also you are right with clodsire and kingambit coming to Pokémon go there going to be out in September 2023

yesterday i got 2 galarian birds Moltres from daily incense and Articuno from 5 star shadow raid
great haul there, unfortunately for me in the UK I had loads of game freezes which kinda interfered with my tally. I did mange to get quite afew I was after though so not too bummed
