I know it’s a simple concept, but this video really helped me out. I’m completely new to trading and it causes so much anxiety for me when it comes to packaging lol
i always use washi tape on toploaders too but i just want to point out that not everyone can have one laying around and it's alright to use a normal tape too. if it gets gross and sticky you can just use a little bit of water to get the residue off. its not such a big deal nor it is time consumig. i sometimes wish people would stop with this washi tape-only propaganda. what matters is the safety of the photocard, not the beauty of a toploader 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I had washi tape before I wanted to start trading (which is barely yesterday) and only yesterday did I understand trading around the would would suck but I'm in a group chat for trades and none and I mean NONE collects what I do (ya know the usual BTS or BlackPink, I don't collect them) so I only find trades outside my country sadly, I don't mind paying the shipping for a normal shipping I also don't mind trading ww but if top loaders are important than holy shit I don't have them, luckily I can order them (trading any sort of card here is not very famous I know crafting stores used to sell trading stuff when I was still a kid, when yu gi ho was very famous)
@@visualhj2119 Theres many places around the world where kpop isnt very famous so the trading community is even smaller, but through this one year of trading experience i found that there's more diversity in kpop group stans in my country and even tho i collect Dreamcatcher which was so rough to trade inside the country. Its now much easier with the growth of different stans and collectors here, i dont want to be mean but when i first started the trading community in my country was really just bts and blackpink which i dont collect so that didn't help me :( (If you would like any other advice, i have less years of experience but i can tell u what i know)

The majority of people in my country that are in the community are only interested in bts and blackpink (I stan both,but it’s still annoying that people only really know about them); luckily I was able to find some trades and sales for my faves, but they’re really not that popular, I could even say they’re absolutely *rare*! warning: FOR THE WASHI TAPE make sure to use washi tape that does not leave STICKY RESIDUE. I learnt the hard way and there was sticky residue all over my toploader if this ever happens to you though, I used isopropyl alcohol but you can use rubbing alcohol or just basic handsanitizer. Use it and grab a tissue paper and pour some of the liquid onto it and place it on the toploader and let it rest on the card, press down on it a little bit and wait. After that grab tape and use it to stick back all the residue, sounds a bit weird but just use the tape and let the residue stick on the tape. This method should work

I’m wondering how do you start selling? I may sell a few of my PCs in the future to limit my collection but I’ve never sold something before so I’m worried that people may not trust my account since I don’t have any proofs or follows (if I were to sell on insta or twitter😣)
usually if you haven't traded before and don't have proofs, the person may ask you to send first and when they receive it they will then send out their half! I would definitely double check their proofs before agreeing to that tho!
usually one stamp (canadian, us or international depending) is still okay! once it starts to feel a little to thick or heavy I'll add a second one! If you're ever unsure you can just bring your mail to the postoffice and they can help you with the right amount of postage!

we don't have Daiso in Canada but I got them at a Japanese dollar store called Oomomo! There's also another Japanese dollar store in a different mall here that also sells them, but I'm sure Daiso has them as well!
hello! you can also put the pc between 2 pieces of flat cardboard! I used to use things like cereal boxes! I would avoid using thick cardboard or the kind with ridges tho as they can get caught in the machines during the mailing process if it's too thick!

I usually charge for a stamp as that price can vary depending on who you're trading with / what country you're sending to! Otherwise, I cover the cost of all other materials since that's just part of trading and both parties / traders usually use the same materials give or take!

I have a couple of standard questions bc recently I begin to get duplicates of photocards like... When you trade does it cost to send a letter to the person? How much is a stamp letter? Is it very reliable?
Hi! No idea if you got your answers yet but usually it does cost to send the letter but that depends I usually only trade within my country so if you send with stamped for me stamps are only 55 cents so yes it does cost but depending on how much stamps are in your country or state or whatever it’s very super really cheap! Stamped are usually 55 cents or a dollar and 50. you can buy letters from Amazon or eBay they are about $13 dollars for a pack of 50 or 100. It’s pretty reliable I haven’t had a problem but there is a chance that mail could get lost but it hasn’t happend to me and it doesn’t happen a lot so it’s pretty reliable !

Trading is kind of very intimidating, not gonna lie.. people put all sorts of rules for how they wanna trade and you gotta do "proofs" and all these things it's just so confusing to a newbie.. and don't even get me started with all the trading terminology.. 😖

The first photocards I sold I just put straight up in the envelope 😭 luckily it wasn’t damaged but I’m glad I know to do it differently now
