Today, though, I had the absolute pleasure of watching the video and seeing the background vikings and their interesting method of rowing the boats. The animations are a quirky little bonus to an amazing song. The vocals were astounding and this is one of my new favorites! Well done!

I have heard many versions of this song, almost to death. But hot damn, your version is EPIC! Using the old Norse really went hard. The background drone really gave the song a depth that almost reminds me of Gregorian chants. and the transition into the more modern instrumentation felt very natural. I will most definitely be checking out the album.

Incredible blend of voices. Incredible tension built. Mixing English and Old Norse. Taking liberty to add the “ROW!” Part was just enough of a careful and impactful touch to flesh out the song even more. Also every guy’s war paint is on point. Highlighting style styles of “vikingr”. Honestly may be my new favorite rendition of the song. No shade to all others who did great versions (especially Perrish!) But wow. And the end is just breathtaking. SKÄL!!

I've listened to Colm sing the entire thing in Old Norse and it's so amazing.
