Well that’s cool..! It’s my pleasure. Love these F800GS’s! 👌 Sorry I won’t be here on Saturday to meet you, but I’m sure our paths will cross again. Take care and be safe out there. Thanks Bill!! 👍👊
I have been thinking about getting this exact year of this bike, and I think this video just finally pushed me over the edge to get it! Although this is the first of your videos I have seen, it certainly won't be the last.
Cool video, 1000 music clips, somehow to many but somehow good. Loved it, drove a f800gs as my first "big bike" 10 yeahrs ago. Now i wone have one again! Such a good bike and it has such a good power to wight and still holds many miles!
My son just bought a '14 800GS w/30k on it, been regular serviced, is clean and seems like a nice bike...I hope it serves him well.. thanks for the video.
You said they don't make that 800 anymore. Did you mean with that same engine because they still have a 310, 750, 800, 850, 900, 1250 and 1300 GS I was curious because I had heard that some said the 850 is a little buzzy one the highway and I was looking at them (if I ever get a bike) because I'm a big guy and wanted a good first bike that was good all around. I think they had a 650 but don't now and one of the GS bikes was from another line and they put a long travel suspension on it for the GS line. You'd be the guy that would know but what would you chose for around town (local) with the occasional road trip on the weekends?
Yes, the Austrian built BRP Rotax 650, 700 & 800 (all 799cc) parallel twins were canceled in 2016. They then became the Chinese built engines 750, 850 & 900XR. For 2024, they're 800 & 900. The 750 & 850 were dropped for this year, but still available as 2023's... Thanks!! 👍
That 2014 sounds smoother than a baby’s butt!!! Lol. Getting them where they are their happiest. Hats off to you. NOTHING beats a GOOD tech/foreman. Stay safe and enjoy NO RAIN 👍🏽😎
The hydraulic fluid on the R1250 is blue, did they change flavors on the R1300? The 1250 calls for the G3 oil also, it’s right in the owners manual, but no one uses it, especially at that price point.
Good morning Shawn. I enjoy your videos and motorcycle insight. Thanks.! Question: Can you get a speedometer calibrated on a 2016 GSA ? It reads high about 3 to 4 mph.
That's MY bike !!! Thanks for taking good care of her for me. I'll pick her up Saturday. Thanks Smoak !

Good old Rotax, they also are big into ultra lite planes. So I figured they had to be reliable motors! 😉 love my F-3S

Good morning Shawn and Kelly from central Ohio.
Please…your title is the Ambassador. Good stuff Smoak’s!
Wow those 1300 GS issues are piling up.
If you would have a choice to pick between can-am, or BMW what would you choose?
I'm looking at 1 in ATX 75k miles, asking $3k. Should I commit, or RUN away? Must admit dat 45" seat height is a turn off, w/ my 29" inseam...
65.00 ea? wow!
Hi U2 😄👋
Hello Mr smoak. Did you say nude
