@@Sidestreetdog Well in Java, it's scary because you really won't even hear it coming until too late. One could sneak up on you and you wouldn't know it's even there until you hear it's telltale hiss.
In Bedrock, you can hear it walking, so it's not as effective at sneaking up on people. That being said, it can still be creepy if you're playing by yourself, though...
It's one of the most iconic creatures in Minecraft, yet still one of the scariest in it.

Basically, creeper head on note block, which create the hiss sound when powered.
Combined with Creeper head on armor stand plus green leather armor.

@@csauce9623 It's a recent addition in the latest update, 1.20. You can do it with any mob head, including the ender dragon, which Kaela also scared people with a few months ago, you can find the clips if you just search "Kaela Temple Dragon".

Just a moment she prise ID structur, Kaela give it more lol,,
Went around to understand the mechanism, here's how I think that works:
- creeper head on an armor stand, chest plate to cover up the armor stand display from top half view
- armor stand is placed above a soul sand
- you can hear a piston's pushing sound, based on how the fake creeper can keep reappearing, most likely a sticky piston is being used to push up the soul sand along with the armor stand
- once it is pushed up, maybe a dispenser was used to dispense water on top of the soul sand block, making the floating on water effect for the armor stand (because armor stands are treated as entities just like players instead of block)
- the redstone wirings underneath fires up everything above (as it turns into an active ON state) at the same time it triggers a noteblock with another creeper head above it to play for one time the creeper hissing sound, all of these stays active as long as you keep standing on that stone pressure plate
- for the OFF state (stepping off the pressure plate), dispenser retracts back the "dispensed" water, sticky piston then retracts back the soul sand (along with armor stand) 1 block lower
- (another possible method) without using dispenser, we can just place water block with the armor stand fully submerged in it, we just need to push the soul sand up and down using the sticky piston
