- Taking the ridiculously powerful 600BHP Subaru Impreza STI RX for a spin in Wales.. This car is definitely not for the faint hearted but it's seriously good fun to drive.
I was able to use this RX car on a normal rally stage thanks to the awesome ACAT (Any Car Any Track) Mod available to download from Race Department.
Hope you guys are all good and massive thanks for helping the channel reach 14k subs in the last couple days - crazy!

Don't let equipment envy keep you from having fun. I am on so very old and I used to love playing "Need For Speed" using a keyboard on a computer only slightly more powerful than an Etch-A-Sketch back in the day. If you've done it the hard and painful way it also makes it that much nicer and more obvious when you do eventually upgrade. Reminds me of a song title that's always amused me more than it perhaps should: "If You Can't Be With The One You Love, Love The One You're With". Strangely enough, none of my significant others have ever shared my amusement with that. 😉

amazing run Storm! don't matter how many wrc we try we always come back to Dirt rally 2.0 , my biggest disappointment with the new WRC career is with the currency crap, never gets paid, always have to please sponsors with they own type of races to complete objectives, we should get our own cash and be able to do secondary races as we please for ex: any wrc as primary and any other races if have the cash and garage slot for the cars.

Beautiful. Glad we can always go back to DR2.0 for great looking weather effects and surfaces. UE4 was a mistake. I'd take shorter stages with amazing graphics over WRC23 any day. Hell I can't even complete a long stage unless I drive like a granny.

Me too DR2 never disappoints. Wrc 23 hasn’t been my favorite. Quality is better than quantity.

I'm suprised how late you have the calls. Do you memorize a stage before doing a run? I like the calls a little late myself since I can't remember 3 turns ahead in the moment, but I'm also not going at your pace lol! Just curious

I think the calls just come way later when you are driving these 600bhp RX cars since they aren’t meant for normal stages and Phil can’t keep up 🤣

I’ve tried that thing on rally stages, it loves to spin out.. 😆 Might try to make a video with it at some point though for a laugh!

Are you using any graphics mods from race department? Like are you using a reshade preset or is this base game graphics? For some reason your game looks so much better than mine?

Do you change alot to the setup of the cars?
For these cars not much at all, usually raise the springs a bit and lengthen the gear ratios. That tends to be it

The clutch does anything when in sequential mode?
It’s more force of habit for me to kick the clutch when taking hairpins to keep the revs up, since you need to when driving h-pattern. I’m honestly not 100% it does much in sequential mode to be honest, but I always kick it just in case 😆
Somehow it still slips the clutch. I use the gamepad but use it for building revs in slow corners

Not want use same car (Subaru Impreza WRX STI) again in the different class, StormRX? For supercar class use engine with power 600 big horsepower, & for NR4/R4 class use engine with power 280 horsepower almost 300 horsepower like Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X.
Yeah all great cars man, will no doubt drive them again in this game at some point soon 😊

Hey man, honestly you wouldn’t be disappointed with either they are both great. If I absolutely had to choose I would probably say Wales just because it is a bit more iconic, but I do really love Scotland too so if you can manage it then I’d definitely recommend getting both at some point 😊
