the thing i like from watching jdorama is they didnt whitewash the skintone of the actors and the actresses so they look beautiful in natural way
Jdrama actresses use alot of make up also, only different tone, you should not discriminate based on appearances of people, let them be.

for real, Kanatas tan skin and dark hair is sooo attractive. Also it would be weird if all of them weren't tan, they live on the beach lol

@@34682323 are they really whitewashing the whole movie/drama? Imo it's more about the tones? Like using dreamy tones that usually being used in kdrama a lot haha. I dont really know about the possibility of whitewashing in movie hehe, i only saw it a lot in picture/photos. Btw Kento is actually really white in real life, just like his skin tones in L.DK, so it's not really whitewashing. But in this drama they purposely make him darker due to the setting 😂
But yes i agree with you that jdorama tend to looks more "natural" than kdrama (for example).
