I remember seeing these ads. One that stands out aired on Channel Seven during Home and Away. In it the D-Generation told viewers that Summer Bay didn't really exist.
At the end of the ad the D-Generation are seen looking at a map. One of the team pointed at it and said,
"Look, there's Wandin Valley (the fictitious town where A Country Practice was set).
