Hi Ethan, founder of Docmost here. I see the link copying issue is settled in another comment. I must admit the user guide documentation is lacking, but I plan to work on it to make user onboarding easier. Videos like this help make the software better. Happy to answer any questions here. Thank you.
Hey, thanks for commenting! Docmost is great and we did realize mid-stream the copying issue was my problem and not the software. I'm super excited to replace my current documentation platform with it and hope I didn't come across too hard on the lack of documentation. I understand how large of a task that is, especially for newer projects.
This self-hosted tool is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, @philipokugbe! I have to admit, the dot at the front of the page name in the left menu makes it look like something hasn’t been saved. I even clicked on it, thinking it would do something just like he did, haha
This was great! Great first solo livestream! I honestly wish I could slow down a bit and be a bit more thoughtful/thorough when I'm demonstrating in my own videos.
Regarding the link copying issue, I guess it's because the browser blocks permission to access your system clipboard if the connection is through unsafe connection (http or https without a trusted cert). If that's the case, it will work with a trusted https setup, no matter if it's local or not. And thanks for the video 🙂
Thanks to everyone who joined me for this live stream! This is a reposted version without the audio hiccups in the first two minutes of the stream!

Keep up the excellent work. Of all the containers I currently self-host, I see the most potential with Docmost.

This is something relatively common with the copy function of services that I've only recently discovered for myself! 😊
Spot on - link copying worked perfectly as soon as I added Docmost to my Traefik setup with SSL
@@nhchiu Lesson learned for the future!
