But otherwise nerf knocked it out of the park with these. This is a gimmick blaster I can get behind. Front loading it like a normal smart AR blaster like you mentioned, would make it a far more practical shotgun. But if we do more of the shell stuff, we’ve gotta have one that holds more than 1 shell in a tube magazine.

It’s on the bottom for the optic. The reason it’s on the bottom is to account for the drop-off at ranges exceeding 1000m, where the shellstrike effectively becomes an artillery gun

Something worth noting is that the 3D printed custom shells for the Trilogy, like the slugs and the Mega ones, work with this. Makes it even more modular.

Everybody says how the knockout has a slow reload but this too 1 get the previous shell out 2 grab another shell from the holder 3 put it in and close the loader 4 prim it 5 shoot Btw the knockout came out before this so yeah
My first thought as well. Chop the storage and grip, flip it upside down (or maybe sideways towards your off hand if you are ok making life hard for yourself, modwise) fix to the underside of your primary of choice. It honestly seems like it was designed for this mod
@Ashton Lovell Simply "cutting it off" will leave the internals exposed. Leave mods of that complexity to the professionals, and keep your grenade launcher on the Demolisher. It's basically a big Stryfe anyway.

I love the pistol/shotgun, but I can confirm it's quite a bit tougher to load while on the move.! It also doesn't have quite the range of the Sledgefire. My boys made quicker than usual work of their ol Dad.
I recently purchased 2 of these, and I found that Taking each shell out is practically pointless because of how quick you can front load it so what I plan on doing is reworking to shell's to fit Mega and maybe ultra or something and leaving them loaded in the shell holder under the barrel and then the only time you would change your shells is to change barrels basically., This would require 3-D printed shells of course
I don't know why but coop does good analysis of all the blasters no one can be like him but his subcribers are not increasing he deserves more than 10 million

I got the trilogy. It’s bigger than I thought, but it’s a nice shotgun. The only thing is it doesn’t always eject the shells; you have to pull the pump all the way back, and very quickly to eject the shells.
