One thing that helps me is something I learned in college. It’s called “taking out the trash.” It’s where you write on a piece of paper whatever is weighing heavy on your heart, causing pain, then light it on fire (safely). It actually feels good watching it burn away. 💕

I lived in an orphanage kinda place but it was also for older kids when I was 14 to almost 17 there in Austin off S. Congress . We did field trips to Barton Springs pool and the park at least once a week. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the pool. It's cold and beautiful. If people say things about you, it helps to remember that those who can, do.. those who can't criticise. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks of you, it only matters what you think of yourself, so you go right on being true to you, because you are an amazing, talented, kind person and that is something to be proud of.

Some fun things to do:
Take a ferry boat to Bainbridge Island and walk to the cute little shops in town. Issaquah Falls are gorgeousness. Pike Market is a must, gotta see the fish throwing and cute shop of vendors. Alki Beach, Washington Park Arboretum, Discovery Park, Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum, Woodinville for all the Wineries, and must eat at Elliot’s on the Water in Seattle. Can Can Culinary Cabaret is so much fun. Great if you do a sister’s trip. It is a blast for girls night!
