I'm child-free by choice, and may I respectfully point out that what you have said is inappropriate. People are free to make their own choices and trying to pressurise them into changing their minds because of your own views is actually rather ill-mannered. It's OK to be different. Incidentally, I know people with several kids who are alone because of distance. I know people without kids who are never alone unless they want to be because they have active social lives. You can't generalise like that.
