- Size Map is a great utility, but has some limitations to and caveats developers should be aware of. I discuss Size Map, Audit Tool, "obj list" to profile disk size and in-memory cost for assets.
For my upcoming Game Performance & Optimization course in Unreal Engine 5 I dug into Size Map, how to use it and especially a focus on its limitations and pitfalls that you must be aware of.

That Udemy course specifically won't be updated. I am looking at keeping my main course updated for a few more years tho! Alongside a new game performance course

i have a question navmesh is the best and optimal for a (pathfinding) multiplayer game or there is a better way?

I know this questions well how longs a piece of string but say for a player character, how many mb is just to big to the point it needs to be rebuilt in a more efficent way?
Currently mine is 190mb for my VR character because it uses a datatable within an actor component.
Oh yes, it's a very useful tool, I use it a lot. Really looking forward to the optimization course, will there be a deepper knowledge of Unreal Insights and/or RenderDoc?
Unreal Insights for sure, RenderDoc is TBD, maybe at some point after launch!
