I'm surprised to see so much snow and ice on the sidewalks and streets. When it snows in New York City the streets are plowed and the sidewalks are cleared. Any ice that can't be scraped up is treated with salt.
Maybe they didn’t clear it right away, knowing it would melt by the evening. Normally, they clear the streets, and if there isn’t much snow, they spread gravel to make sure the sidewalks and roads stay safe.😊
