      That is one beautiful guitar Jerry, I had the pleasure of watching you build it. That guitar I would put up against any high end Martin.

      Great Job on that guitar Jerry. I watched every video on you building it and it's nice to see you getting a lot of praise from your former apprentice. You taught Caleb well. Hope to see more Rosa Guitars in his videos.

      Same question here plus there was a similar vibe near the tail block area. Saw a lot more raised grain too for such a new guitar so perhaps there might be an environmental issue where its living or being played. Is my memory correct that they have a campground on a waterway with river activities so water and campfires might be involved. I try to ease back from campfires when playing while still trying to keep the guitar I'm playing from getting damp from evening dew without cooking it with the heat from the flames.
      Best!

    Very nice job, Caleb! That's a great guitar - I watched it being built. What is written on the truss rod cover?

      That little can will go a Long way. It is to be applied very lightly.
      If you apply too much, you will have a very difficult time getting it off. 😁✌🖖

    ????? Caleb, a question: Why does no one use a radius block, to sand
    the frets, after leveling, to maintain the fret radius? 😁✌🖖

    • @mikeyputito
      @mikeyputito 7 месяцев назад

      i imagine it would take hours of sanding with heavy pressure in one spot to have any effect on the radius

    It is a beautiful guitar, but I can't believe Jerry didn't notice the bridge pin hole on the D-string was drilled out of sync with the rest of the arc. He usually doesn't miss something like that. I can't remember noticing it in the build video, but it has been a while.

    Surprising how grotty that guitar was for a really pretty one off instrument. Owner needs to give it a clean once in a while.
