My 2015 does 235 KPH or 145 MPH. That 6th gear really gives it a great top end or conserve fuel running the highways at 130 KPH. It does get there really quickly and just loves to lay down into the corners. It is a great touring bike. I have been all over the USA and Canada with it.
@@mototop_ No , not if you set it up right. The 2015 Versys 1000 has a much different design of windscreen thatn the newer models do. Push the rear suspension up like you were going to set it up for a rider. Puts more weight and down force on the front. Also keep the windscreen at its lowest height and duck your face way up behind it so the high speed wind doesn't catch you. If you don't do this , the shape of the windscreen and fairing tends to LIFT the front end a bit and lighten it up too much to get good steering and stability. It would feel just like that at low speeds if you put a lot of weight on the rear luggage rack. Picks up the front so bad it's a bitch to keep it strait even at low speeds. I've tried this. I stacked 4 front brake rotors from my pickup truck way back there for ballast just to see what it does. I also needed to get them machined at the auto parts store. The rear suspension is adjustable ; use it. Since this bike is a medium sized touring bike at #550 empty , it is really fussy on the front to rear weight balance.
If you put the Versys in rider Mode and turn off the ktrc the time from 0 to 100 would have been quicker. But I love the way you do with every bike, definitely pro!
of course I would like to. But it's not easy to get the bikes. I already wrote to some manufactueres to get bikes for testing, but they don't reply :.(
Desafortunadamente hay un error. Utilicé la distancia de la Gopro, pero está a unos 100 m por detrás. En mis últimos videos, los tiempos son correctos.
Maybe because it's pretty tall or due the long front suspension.... But with harder suspension setting and different tire pressure it should be better.
@@mototop_ I have tried different suspension settings. Different tires pressure, but nothing helped. But i still want to buy it. I wanted Honda NT1100 but it's not supplied to us. Thanks for your answer. Have a good roads friend.
Maybe I could have it done about 0,2s faster. And the Versys1000 is a totally different kind of bike compared to the Fazer. and it only has 120hp, Fazer 150hp.
@@mototop_ You are right, good try, this versys is heavy as compared to Fazer, I am thinking of getting the Yamaha Tracer 900, lighter and make it more powerful.
For 1000cc and 120HP bike, top speed and from 0 to 200, those are catastrophic results... There are plenty of 650cc, 2 cilynder bikes which will do better... my bandit 1250 with 100HP does 0 to 200 in like less then 10 sec...
you have to consider it's an adventure bike! And I'm sorry, but your Bandit with 100hp never gets 0-200 in less than 10 sec. You need to measure the REAL speed per GPS and not the speedometer.
@@mototop_ there a lot "adventure" 1000cc bikes, which dont take 18 sec to get to 200( for example tracer 900 does it in like 12 sec)... Kind of surprised how low the top speed is. My St1300 would easily do 110mph, with 2 up, and not even sweating at 6000 rpms. I never went faster. I'M a chicken.

Very nice quality video thank you !
i have a 2017 versys 1000 lt with the handy saddle bags and whatnot. thats plenty fast enough for me. sweetest bike ive ever had.

Yes it can.
Just drop a gear and crack the throttle.
Picks the front right up without much effort at all.

What traction control setting are you using? I am guessing maximum one to prevent wheelies?
I'm not sure which setting I chose. I guess it was the maximum.

woot, speed wobble at 210 ? bad tyres ? such new heavy bike should not do that?
no, you just need to chose a stiffer suspension setting and different tire pressure, then it should be okay.

I guess not

La moto se mueve así? O es la cámara porque a esa velocidad con esa oxilacion que miedo
