Nice! I find it better when I knit both socks at the same time. It means having two set of DPNs but it results in two finished sock at the same time, instead of one sock finished and months later the second one still isn't finished (and sometimes not even started!)

The look on your face when you shook those teeth 🦷😂😭🤣 Me watching your videos with all your hobbies: *crocheting after painting my nails* I wish I had a bunch of hobbies like Hillary … wait… 💅🏽🧶😅 That Tarot card project is going to be gorgeous! Just like the Wizard one! And the ghosts in the bell jars 😍 I think it’s the black fabric, it really makes the colors pop! When you put that fabric on your head I thought of the Evil Kermit meme “Do It” 😂 I love older project magazines/books too!!! I love looking at the library for crochet books or videos on RUclips that look like a “vintage” pattern! I made a wrap for a friend’s gf from a vintage pattern and she said she gets a lot of compliments on it because it’s so unique - I’m glad because I had to rewatch the video every repeat of the pattern because it was an 8 row repeat with 56 rows in a sport weight yarn… I kept thinking “I’m too new of a crocheter, I shouldn’t be doing this pattern yet” 😂😅😫 Great works and ideas! Can’t wait for the Tarot Card project to be completed 😍 Enjoy!!

I am feeling there may be a Sophia (Golden Girls) stitch in my future, probably my first portrait stitch, though I think that may end up waiting until at least year. The Summer Party project is so much fun. The color pattern reminds me of old 80s PC games, and I'm not entirely sure why! :D And as always, your personal A Year of Stitches project is so much fun. I'll be trying my hand at my second design when I start my character sheet design for the D&D SAL I am hoping to host...um, maybe next year if all things work out? And how fun that you're into Knitting! It reminds me that I have other hobbies I need to devote time to, such as getting off my behind to begin working on a video game idea I have for a farm sim game. Always great to catch up! Looking forward to your next video.
Hey I enjoy your stitching and I don’t buy s new skien of DMC for each project either, I have my DMC bobbins in floss boxes I have like 5 boxes of DMC, and keep my variegated floss in those plastic size scrapbook boxes. I probably need a better system for them. I enjoy seeing all your WIPS. As for the quilting, can I suggest if you are not using, is a , size 14 quilting needle, made specifically for quilting and/or it be as simple as changing out the bobbin and making sure you have throughly cleaned out the lint from the bobbin snd under the throat plate. It is not fun, when having sewing machine issues!
I bobbinate also and work out of my master set. I do however have separate colors on floss drops I found at my lns especially for a 10 color full coverage I started on new years day. But otherwise all my other kits r on my dmc cardboard bobbins w dmc stickers in matching bobbin boxes. I like uniformity that way. But I also like my floss drops for my 1 project! They're just cute cardstock ones tho, nothing too special. LOVE that possum tarot! Such an underrated lil guy 😉...we have 2 possums that come to our patio n I am (im)patiently waiting for them to bring me their cute babies!!! I have a few possum designs in my wish list but I'm SO trying to behave. It's really hard tho! I had to laugh when u mentioned the trader Joe's pk lot- the 1 by me is like that too and I refuse to go there for that reason alone😂 the spots are narrow af not to mention there aren't many lol and ppl drive like lunatics thru there and I've seen ppl arguing over spaces 🤣🤣 fun free entertainment 🍿 but no time for nonsense😂 Happy stitching!🐈⬛🪡❤️
@@subpar_stitches if it’s skipping near seams you might want to try basting more(either thread or extra safety pins). Also if you can adjust the pressure foot tension, you could try that to get better contact.

You need a walking foot for the quilt
That's what I was using but no matter what I did it kept skipping! I even changed needles but still had issues so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
