What makes this ambush Accurate as the Germans back then actually did fire from the rear of their open top half track during the invasion of Poland it was affective as the enemy could not get off good shoots it was also a good tactic for panzer grinder’s to keep up with the German panzer

Some of Germany’s old equipment we’re still used it in 1944 as some sort of back up weapon or a blade howitzer how much are you saw it when the Germans fired was a old one used in 1939 to 1941 but was still used as a light artillery peace for infantry

Why did it take 70 years to tell the truth about black units. From the Red Tails to the black tank battalion. And over 100 years to tell us about the " Harlem Hell Fighters." Another reason why I left America 10 years ago.

In this video the action takes place in GERMANY but it lot of people don't understand the war in the PACIFIC where JAPANESE AMERICANS were mad at JAPAN attacking PEARL HARBOR so the 442nd was formed during WW2 in the PACIFIC OCEAN and they are decorated as many historians will agree and that's also why BLACK AMERICANS joined the war in fight the GERMANS
the 442 fought in italy and southern france then into Germany. they did not fight in the Pacific

The 3 star is supposed to be Patton. He put the 761st on point in the race across France, into Germany, because they were the best tank destroyer unit. They did not disappoint, but this movie was crap.

And even though Patton had his skepticism about the tank unit they won him over. They were the original black Panthers.

The only war movie that portrayed a unit of black american servicemen in a way that seemed realistic was Tuskegee Airmen with Lawrence Fishburn. For some reason the newer movies always seem too cartoonish or they try too hard to pander to a black audience that makes them seem disingenuous.
I also have some books ( which I haven't read yet) about the Red Tails.
it would be better to do movies with black soldiers in Vietnam and Korea. My grandfather (who was Black) was in a tank in Korea but you would never see that in WW2.

I fully agree. When I tried to watch the George Lucas movie Red Tails, I lasted about twenty minutes. It was painful! It felt like a fusion of Star Wars and The Tuskegee Airmen.
The original Tuskegee Airmen was actually decent. I recall watching it on TV back when it aired. It was not great, but it seemed pretty accurate.
You are very limited in your movie selection. Try Glory (1989), Miracle at ST Ana (2008), Men of Honor (2000), Buffalo Soldiers (1997) or the Soldier's Story (1984).

There was no such thing as "Sherman Jumbo" tank during WWII. The Americans never had a heavy tank during WWII. The upgrade to the Sherman that happened towards the end of the war was the Persing that had a bigger gun and other modifications. Regardless, it remained classified as a meduim tank.

It is disgusting ow black people have been treated in the past, and still are today by some! Black people have had some horrible things happen to them throughout the years. It's not a crime to have coloured skin. I wish more people would respect other people and not judge just because someone has black, brown or yellow skin. Some white people don't like it when their a target, and they shouldn't, so why hate on those of colour simply because their not European?
