Always a fascinating and enjoyable watch about true journalists who know college football...true substance amongst a majority of fluff coverage in the sports sphere.
Way off topic, but wouldn't it be great if Oregon staged a flash mob dancing to an updated version of "I Love My Ducks" at the gates/entry area in Indianapolis for the championship game? I don't know about you, but I'd love that and it would so fit in with the Lanning Way, lol!
To be fair, Indiana (Colts) football, at it's best, isn't big. Dwight Freeney was 6-1 268. Bob Sanders was 5-8 206. Gary Brackett was 5-11 235. Robert Mathis was 6-2 245. So Indiana (Hoosiers) football is just following that trend.
There is a not single team, besides OSU, on Indianas schedule with a winning record. If they lose that game you have to look at the schedule. Same for Texas.
Weird fact--every conference team on IU's schedule would have a .500 record or better if they beat IU. And Washington is now 6-5. Considering they were looking at the two participants in last year's NC game plus OSU plus what was supposed to be a revitalized Nebraska when the season ended last year, it was kind of fluky the schedule ended up as weak as it did. Can't blame them for it, at least they've smoked everybody they've played except Michigan with a bunch of NFL guys who woke up for a half to make it close.
Why 10? What has Texas done? What has ND done? Texas lost at home to Georgia by 15. That is a lot more than 10. ND lost to at home to NIU. IU is on the road at OSU. They should be given a lot more latitude that 7-10.
@@JeffreyLeohner Boise St only has one loss this season. That was against Oregon by 3 at Oregon. The quality of competition has been about the same as Penn St and Texas, but both of them have a worse loss. Texas lost at home to Georgia by 2 scores. Penn St lost at home as well. Oregon>OSU>Georgia.
@ Good point! But other than Oregon, who has Boise State beaten that is a quality win? Also Boise played Oregon early in the season, before they figured thinks out, with their offensive, and defensive lines! If Boise played Oregon right now, do you really think they would beat them this time? 🌰🏈

The ability of the new OC to bring a legit potential multiple year starting qb has to figure into this decision.
Should be an awesome game, what football is all about.
Power 4 + PAC 6 head to head.
Overall
ACC 9-9
Big 12 5-9
Big Ten 7-9
Pac 12 3-2
SEC 10-5
Ohio St has offensive line problems so Indiana has a great chance.
Definitely going to impact the game for OSU!
IU is going to get beat by 3 scores.
A great chance to lose… definitely
UI 36-20

You mean Ohio st doesn’t have a 5 center backup. Hard to believe with the money they spend.
No chance. Ohio state is just to awesome.
Oregon beat them looks like Indiana is good enough. Ill be watching...
If you went by talent alone Ohio st would never lose a game.

OSU lost their center. Ouch
How much do you think that will impact the Indiana game?
If Indiana loses they r out. They need as many sec teams in as possible.
I think Boise St should be ranked higher than Texas and Penn St.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why do you think that? Really! 🌰🏈
