Yup, def agree with your Polumnia Omnia take. The absense of the electronic parts made it sound softer, yet the vocal choice was too heavy and didn't really serve the piece. Like you said, the performance was good, it's not the singer's problem, just wrong choice.
Yep I agree. Baritone just doesn't suit a young man like Scaramouche. A tenor would be a better choice. If they used the singer for someone like say, Il Capitano, that might work better.

They seem to want to improve on the piece, but haven't realized that the reason people like it is because it's so non-traditional and unique that it doesn't need improved.

I think Polumnia Omnia in this version is great, I love how different it is from the original and the singer is very skilled but yea the original is just a masterpiece
Ngl, considering we already got a live performance of Polumnia Omnia earlier this year, I was kind of hoping we'd also get Rhapsodia Roscida in this concert.
Though I'm not certain if omitting it was the better choice considering the alterations they made to Polumnia Omnia.
Some , there's too much repeating song from the 3 concerts
for me, my faves in order would be Liyue , then Sumeru tied with Inazuma, then Mondstadt, then Fontaine
I actually really liked this rendition of Polumnia Omnia, a little surprised by your take since this is the live version you wanted before, but it is understandable too
I appreciate that hoyo changes the piece around so it doesn't get stale, to usual players its probably the most reharsed ost in their brain

Also Marco did want a "live version" of this song with actual instruments, yes, but the singer hasn't changed and although variety from the original can be good, such a difference from the original only makes it something else that noone asked for, so I'm not sure how can you be surprised of Marco's genuine, respectful and VERY shared opinion!

I want to recommend "Sankarin Tango", from the game Control, it sings in Finnish about the story of the Heroes from the three games Alan Wake(Alan Wake), Quantum Break(Jack Joyce) and Control(Jesse Faden). The lyrics are worth checking out (Maybe a blind one first to try and guess the energy first just from how it sounds?) All of them share a Universe that I recommend checking out by playing Remedy's games and hearing all the other cool music from Old Gods of Asgard (a fictional band from the Universe), it's a blast and has a lot of Lore (I am a lore nerd in a lot of games hehe).

i havent watched bcs watching it alone would be boring so yeah i only watched this kind of thing with my favorite content creator.
anyway, just want to say, after watching all of this i can confidently say that my fav region is still sumeru.

The thing with monstad and fontain music it is too calming and classical, very vanilla. But sumeru , inazuma and liyue got that spice. It is just fun and cool to hear sahamisan with violin and piano or sitar and tabla with grand piano and cello. The fontain / monstad music can be heard in lot of outher ip s. But this asian and western fusion is only a genshin thing
But for me i like monstad and fontain equally as for me who learnt hinduthani clasical since kinder garden, western classical is exotic and intreging

do check out the Hitman games' OST by Jesper Kyd. they have a phenomenal mix of orchestral elements and electronic sounds and Kyd is a master at generating tension.

Fantastic concert, I don't really play Genshin anymore, but the music will always be great. I don't know if there is a specific place to make requests, but would you give "Between Two Worlds" by Mili a listen? I just started playing Limbus Company again (same world as Library of Ruina) and this track caught me off guard. It is a boss track, and shan't say more.
Idk ridens mixing could have enhanced the track. May be useling more shamisans than 1 would have create more of an raiden's Impact
