You said say something. Well, the wife and I were on a trip to Nebraska in an El Camino, and we broke down in Kansas. I think it was around 2 am - A little place called Goodland. We pulled into an all night gas station. I asked the person at the register if there was somewhere to get service. She said yeah, I think that I know someone. Now, I was thinking someone with a garage. Nope, this was a guy who had the part laying around, and to my surprise he just brought it out that night and didn't charge me. There are some beautiful people out there.
I can see why California is known as the hot rod capital of the USA, great to see so many awesome cars in one place, 1940 Mercury coupe chop top is my dream car.
this day will always be bittersweet to me. it was sooooo cool to be there becuz it was my first time, but since it was the last one they were gonna hold at the speedway it was also my last. met so many good ppl and spoke to many more about their respective cool cars. even got a chance to watch a few of the drag races. and as always, rollin with the fellas was the icing on the cake. blessed to ride with such good f*n ppl.... 💯🫶🏽 wait a sec---did i miss out on the wolfpack garage bus ride?!?!? wth. 🫤
