I'm always really self conscious about talking to ppl about money bc they have a diff perception of what I find expensive and what they find expensive. It's super reassuring that she has a platform like this, can still be humble and show the reality of her life.

It felt a little reassuring that even students that go to Ivy Leagues are dealing with the same stress and challenge of online learning. 1. Your editing has immensely improved (not trying to say it was bad beforehand but its just sooo amazing now) and I love how you're starting to really find your own trademark 2. I love how you're being transparent about being a low income family because I know that I often get caught up thinking that ivy leagues only accept rich legacy families 3. Most importantly, this has been my first semester of college and I have really struggled with lack of motivation and I was worried that I didn't actually like my course and that i wasn't actually a hard working student. However, hearing you speak about how you also had a slump phase helps to remind me that its normal and that i cannot be so hard on myself. Thank you so much for reminding me that my emotions are valid and being a role model for so many out there :)

I had so many problems in the last months of my school year like: feel unmotivated to study, aks me a lot "why i'm doing this?", mismanagement of my time, procrastinate most of the time and doing my homework at the last hour, things like that. 100% agree about the need for balance when doing online school/university - it's so easy just to work work work when there's not much else to do and it can be super tricky to not feel guilty when relaxing knowing you could be doing work because you're in the same space where you both work AND relax - love the new series!! ❤️❤️

This, in many ways, was very comforting to me. It’s been extremely hard for me to focus academically for literally all the same reasons. Oh my God hi ☺️ This year was 👀 It was 🤢 It was 😭 It was.... a RANGE of emotions, if you will. I REALLY want to attend Harvard, going to Harvard would be a dream come true. I am currently a sophomore at my High School. Last year I did amazing in my classes, I realized that I was a boss a$$ b!tch, and that I could do anything if I put my mind to it. I ended the school year with high A’s. Also given the fact that I was in normal classes. When I was in enrolling for my classes, I wanted to take the four available PAP classes. Well.. that didn’t work out. The teachers thought that I wasn’t smart enough, and the class would be “too hard for me”. Let me also say that I’m in this “Special Education Program”... only because I’m bilingual and speak Spanish. Them thinking I couldn’t do it, really really hurt me. They enrolled me in two PAP classes, to see if I did well. Well sis I did do well, I had high passing grades. In conclusion, teachers questioning my intelligence REALLY made me think that I was less than. But I’m not, I am amazing☺️ Sorry if this is all over the place, I’m writing this at 3am.. love you Christine 🤣
