“ How can a ghost open a door” The most realistic yet unanswered question I have ever heard
How can a ghost anything?
Mental telekinesis? If you saw the movie Ghost and he had to really focus energy to move things. I figure it's more with the mind.
Well, it was a demon, not a ghost. Ghosts are humans who once lived. Demons are not human.
how can a ghost?
Poltergeist

if I had friends that reacted like this then I would never be afraid of watching scary movies because their reactions make it fun lol
Can confirm- having scaredy-cat friends make it so much more fun.
A friend invited me over for a sleepover once, and I tried telling her that I could not handle scary movies, but she still played two in a row once I got there. I kept her up the whole night, crying and hyperventilating out of panic. Some of us are just weak af 😔

I feel like American horrors are more about the visuals and jump scares than scary storylines, while Korean films have those more creepy and realistic backstories
Yes, asian horror is the best, not only Korean, the best horror I have watched is from several asian countries. They really know how to scare you for real, not just jump scares.
Well there’s horror movies like The Conjuring, The Exorcist, or the Amityville Horror based on real life events, and have insane backstories. Then you have movies that are based off of true haunted places that have terrifying history like The Shinning, The Conjuring, or the Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Those movies are some of the best horror movies made.
@@tatianalp2847 One of my favorite is from a film called The Eye. That one got me good.
@@tatianalp2847 Another I recommend is the Japanese horror supernatural film called “Kairo”. Very scary scenes. One scene in that film in particular will make you feel creeped out, and want to look away, but also like you won’t be able to look away. It’s about 20-25 minutes into the film. Another favorite scary scene is from my personal favorite horror film, the original Japanese Dark Water.

"I don't like the supernatural horror movies, they're too realistic."

@@KevinTK-os2zv But why would anyone word it as if to say, "I'm okay with horror movies about regular, human killers, those aren't too intense. But the ones with ghosts and demons really get to me; those ones feel like they could really happen!" It's absurd.
@@kylefrank638 honestly, there’s been a lot of cases around the world with killers and stuff. You can also argue that with ghosts but there is no concrete evidence of their existence. The mystery to their name they uphold makes them scarier in these kinds of movies.
@@KevinTK-os2zv Well I see what you mean to say but I just don't agree. I myself am very intrigued by paranormal cases where there was only witness testimony for investigators to go off of, or some piece of evidence that couldn't be comprehended.. but I generally don't find them to be more frightening than crimes and encounters that have fully come to light, and show just how evil some very real humans can become. When horror movies take the subtlety away from those supernatural cases, and they resort to over-the-top imagery and nonsense, I think they really shoot themselves in the foot, in terms of effectiveness.
@@kylefrank638 The human is scared from what he can't understand, the unknown.

"Do something sacred", "Grab the Bible or something"
This girls made me laugh so hard!
I feel like a lot of people know this at this point after 2 movie releases, but just in case, I'll explain. During the IT scene when it zooms in really close to Pennywise's face before the bite, one of the girls asks "Is it computer graphics?" She's probably talking about his eyes. No they aren't. (They might've used cgi to enhance it but I don't think they did.) Bill Skarsgard, the actor who plays Pennywise has lazy eyes. Basically, if he relaxes the muscles around his eyes, they can just go off in completely different directions like that. From what I remember, the director of IT talked to Bill about his vision of Pennywise, and he said something like he wanted Pennywise to have these really crazy eyes but that they would have to use CGI. But then Bill just moved his eyes on command without warning. I don't think they even knew he could do that when they cast him as Pennywise. Probably saved the movie a decent chunk in CGI and time.
Not only that but he's a contortionist. In the first movie when he was in that cabinet, none of that was cgi. He legit made his body contort like that.
Really ? I didn't know any of this
Yep that is correct. They did use some CGI to enhance the effects to make them look "worse" but the actor Bill could do the contortions and eye thing on his own. The weird pennywise smile is also fully his own work and not cgi enhanced
@@supermellow1x265 omg now i need to rewatch both movies XD

I think the thing with Western horror is that’s it’s usually far more visual than Korean horror which from what I’ve personally seen is more psychological. So I can understand how they can get so scared.
"You can't do that as a nun", " Grab the Bible or something" comments on "The NUN" was so hilarious af. i can't stand XDXDXD

I mentioned the history of this in the comments for the last horror reaction video, but I think horror movies ruined clowns. It used to be deliberately ironic that Batman dressed up as something scary while the Joker resembled something children loved.
Danielle Reasor 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't understand the fear of clowns, I love clowns.
@@local_anxiety_rat1276 if you read the " IT" main novel you can see the fact that we or especially children love clowns is the main point and key word, because we trust them and they made fo fun, but the author wants to show that the hidden scary part of it which created because the actual CLOWNING , that was a unique choice i loved it
"The most ancient clowns have been found in the Fifth dynasty of Egypt, around 2400 BC. Unlike court jesters, clowns have traditionally served a socio-religious and psychological role, and traditionally the roles of priest and clown have been held by the same persons." This is what Google showed me.
I love videos like this. Cultures coming together or others being explored is something that always brings a smile to my face. I feel like that’s something everyone around the world SHOULD do. The more we explore each others cultures and styles of living, the more we come to a greater level of understanding and respect for one another.
Loved the reactions. Particularly to the newest IT movie. Loved the guy miming smashing his head into a wall. Funny as hell. Also, Chacha is a legit champ when it comes to horror.

When a movie called "House on Haunted Hill" came out, I saw it in theaters, I was 11 year old. It was the most horrifying thing I'd ever seen on a traumatic level. Ever since, there hasnt been a horror movie that has scared me. It's like I'd already seen it all and know what to expect. Horror movies dont scare me anymore. Now that I'm 32 years old, the most a horror movie can get out of me is a flinch as a result of a sudden loud sound effect or moment in the music, but nothing visually can get a reaction from me these days lol.
There is a scene in that film where the woman reporter is snooping down in one of the rooms and this tall man appears in the room that's on the other side, and just suddenly appears in front of her screaming, that scene made my life flash before my eyes.
And that's why I don't like horror movies✨😌

I think A24 does a great job on the horror movies, it's not really the typical jumpscares or anything. Like, the Witch and Hereditary and stuff. These are western films by the way.
I love this channel!!!
They should also react to comedy horrors, like “a scary movie” and “a haunted house”💗💗💗💗
