I currently ride a 7'10'' pretty well. Ready to move to a short board to catch bigger waves. I'm 6'5'' and weigh 175. I really want to duck dive and be able to maneuver the board well. Do you think the 6'6'' Torq Fish would suit me well?
Hi, Yes I think that sounds about right, don't think you want to go any smaller at this stage. We have a full re-stock of Torq around the 15th July. But you can see our current live stock here www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/torq-surfboards
+robert Hi - I would 100% suggest going bigger for 90 to 100 kgs. 7ft 2 minimum: www.boardshop.co.uk/torq-mod-fish-surfboard-package-7ft-2-pinline-blue
Hi, question here : Actually I am a SUPsurfer but the two past summer I surfed 3-4ft waves in Newport Beach with a 7'2" mini malibu (NSP), and now I'd like to buy a board but where I live the waves are like 1-3ft most of the time and the big waves sessions are big windy waves sessions. So I wanted to buy a fish surfboard 6'6" or 6'8" so I could surf the small 1ft waves and still surf on windy days. Could I do that with a board like that ? I am 5'5" and I weigh 55-60kg
Thank you, better take the 6'6" one or the 6'10" one ( to know : where I surf the waves can be very small et VERY weak) ? One more question : I saw on torq's site that they also have a "performance fish" which is more expensive. The volume and the technology seems different, but what is the real difference, should I also look for this one ?
Hi - a tad late to the party here Looking to buy a Torq Mod Fish since I feel like I'm ready to drop down to a shorter board than the 7'ish boards I've been riding. I'm 5'5'' and weight 53kg, should I go for the 6'3'' or should I go smaller? I'm a relatively competent surfer but want to improve my turns and board maneuverability. Just worrying that a 5'11'' is going to be too small and reduce my wave count on small wave days? I only surf about 4 days or so a month so wondering whether to go a little bigger to increase the versatility of the board in cruddy conditions?
Hi I never surfing before and I want to start surfing and I dont know what board should I get. I am 185 cm tall an 68 kilgrams. What kind and what size board I need to learn how to surfing.
Softies can be used without wax but i would highly recommend using wax as it will increase your grip making it easier to surf and manoeuvre in the water.
they are an EPS core.
