Hi Phill, I got one of these bench grinder it is identical apart from the name mine is a Workcraft it has the 150 watt brushless motor. These bench grinder are made in the same factory just with different manufacture names. I know it comes with a two year guarantee mine did as well and I bought mine about 12 years ago and still works very well.
As always a great and honest video, Take care

Cheers Shaun 👍🏻 yea I've seen a few which seems to be the same model. I like the green paint on this one. And the price was pretty good too!

Thanks Phill, as you say, you can't really complain at that price and it seems Ok - main thing is it seems to run true so no excessive vibration ! So many of these cheap imported tools are let down by poor instructions, luckily you have the experience and confidence to identify and remedy the misleading manual ! That coarse wheel in particular looks like its made of old cinder blocks, but as long as it's safe to use it can always be upgraded over time - a good replacement stone could easily cost more than the whole product !

Cheers Andy 👍🏻 yea the manual seems to contradict itself quite a bit unfortunately. The coarse disc does look quite rough as you said I think I will get some new discs at some point.

Cheers 👍🏻 yes it does look very similar to the Macalister. I was surprised that the base was plastic on the guild although it seems ok.

Good video Phil. I always worry whether a 150 watt motor is beefy enough.

Cheers Tony👍🏻 it seems fine for general work although I do prefer my 250w Ryobi. I will see how I get on with it. Hard to tell so far.

can you take a grinding wheel out and put a buffer polisher

Possibly. I have since removed the 30 grit wheel and added a wire wheel which is working just fine. I am not sure about a buffing wheel as I don't have one to check.
