Szalai was born to play gypsy violin. It does not matter how fast you can play, this version is the best I heard. Excellent feelings and technique Szalai👍🌹🌹🌹
Although my dad parent came from Hungary,,and he was born in America...he LOVED Hungarian music and played the cymboli in a Hungarian orchestra along with his cousins.. We grew up listening to gypsy music...and dancing czardas's at our weddings....

He was skilled enough to be able to compose his Csárdás in the style of Hungarian gypsy music. This csárdás may not sound exactly as other gypsy music you have heard, but it is certainly reminiscent of that style.

I'm so happy to live in Hungary. I found this thanks to one of my friends and honestly, I probably wouldn't know about this if I hadn't met her. This is amazing.
my grandfather jenö gaspar was a brilliant violinist, he died at the end of the 1990s and my great grand father lajos gaspar was a famous cimbalom player until the end of 1930s and early 1940s and he moved to germany. my grand mom told me that we are gypsies (sinti) and i still have family in hungary, but unfortunately i have never met them and i don't know where they live in hungary now. i would like to know if they still make music and if they can speak romnes or have forgotten the language of the sinti. it is not easy to find them, because in hungary there are mostly very many roma people but very few sinti.
