I like that they lean into the fact that DICK was the violent Robin, not Jason. Jason thought Robin was magic and was the happiest of them, only turning moody after he died and became Red Hood. Dick was the brutal, vengeful Robin who went on to fight with Bruce all the time and ignore little Jason like the angsty teenager he was. I like that his deep anger and resentment at being replaced wasn’t ignored, nor his resentment of being raised as a child-soldier, and that his leadership wasn’t questioned by making him too soft. He is a brutal, battle-hardened warrior and leader who commands respect without powers due to his skills, intelligence, and ability to bring people together.
