@@Gløriøusgøne_9 Agreed! and still great writing, I seen him during Digital Ash tour! It was great, hope too see them again. Hopefully you see them b4 covid shuts down everything
What a sad attempt at this song. At first I was excited to see such a classic, played so recently... but then he started singing, and he sounded so old, flat, and lifeless. He's nowhere close to being able to match the vocals on the recording. I don't think he plays this much anymore, and seems to have forgotten whole parts of the songs. Having to stop mid song and start over is such an amateur move, it's depressing to see it come from someone like Conor. I hope he's not on drugs, because this looks just as bad as a Puddle of Mudd set. How depressing.
It was his first live performance in a couple years. He said it was the longest he'd ever gone without playing a show since he started making music. There was a lot of criticism from fans this tour but I think he was just a little rusty and clearly getting older, as we all are.
Well he also is not in his early 20s anymore. He is getting older and is just trying to make his fans happy. I get he doesn't sound great, but he is trying.
NO, THIS IS STILL AMAZING. it was written over 20 years ago and he's written at least 200 songs since then. this is their first show back after covid, so respectfully, STFU :)
I think you are being harsh as fuck. Bright eyes has not been this man's focus for quite a while. He has many projects that he is involved in and is essentially playing old throw backs for an artist that has gathered many years of songs, not to mention coming out of a lock down/pandemic where artists could not perform if they wanted to. Real douche move buddy.
For years I’ve been listening to BE and Jon Theodore’s work not realizing they were a match made in Heaven
Oh my God I wish I was there!!!!
I was there! It was insane
ugh,, I can't believe I missed it.
I didn't know they were still around. Good for them or I'm sorry?
Good for them, they’re still great, but in a very different way.
Conor sounds amazing! But he doesn’t seem to scream sing as much anymore as he used too
The joy of ageing.
@@ASH-tu3vn but still he’s sounding great and preforming great to me, I still need to get to his concert one day. Would be amazing! to see them live.

Anyone go see Phoebe Bridgers at the same venue two months later?

You must check the newer live version from 2 April, 2022. Still not 2000 but he sounds a lot more energetic there!
