Too much bullshit in the comments , it is not Electric Stingray that which is called “E-Ray” not fkin Electric Stingray and it is not Hybrid , it is not 5.5 L , it is no even a flat plane crankshaft engine , it is 6.2 L with Twin Turbos that makes around 850 HP , but still unknown if it is AWD or still trash RWD with stupid traction issues under 3rd gear
There is no electric stingray. The E Ray is a hybrid that keeps the same v8 engine from the stingray, and this car is supposedly the ZR1, which isn’t even a hybrid.
For all we know that could already be a C9 powertrain test mule disguised to look like a C8. They do that you know. I have to think the ZR1 is already baked and out of the oven already.
Not even close, the C8 has been out for all of 3 years, they are not working on the C9 yet. This is some iteration of the C8, most likely a ZR1 and the ZR1 would almost definitely be in the testing stage at this point. We are going to start seeing a lot more spy shots of the ZR1 before it is ready to be revealed, that’s how it works every time with just about every manufacturer

I think it’s just road noise. The z06 behind it didn’t have any noise either. Even if it was a hybrid you would still hear an engine.
