It's worth a visit but the campsites are always a bit squished in the further south you go (which is to be expected from the popularity). The boats are definitely the preferred method of transport down here tho!
It's stunning and some of the most scenic roads to drive along. Next time I will head further inland as there are many more park ups but it was so hot, all I could think about was getting in the sea to cool off! Thanks for watching ❤
If those Hight barriers were not there you still would not get in because it would be full of Gypsies/Travellers! I found it best to park a few Kilometres in land and then E-bike (cos I'm old) to the coast.
I've said that if I went back I would stick to further inland too and an e-bike is on the list for this year as it might encourage me to get on my bike a bit more. Covid years added a few pounds (well actually stones) on and I need to get my backside in gear again!
It's very good that it's motorhome unfriendly. There isn't space for such huge monstrosities which contribute NOTHING to the local economy. Motorhomes require vast parking spaces and facilities, none of which are available on the narrow strip of the Cote d'Azure.
@@AndriyValdensius-wi8gw you are sadly mistaken when you say monstrosities which contribute NOTHING to the local community. You ned to get your facts straight.
@user-xv6wn4xg1t What do they contribute apart from congestion and occupation of space, which is limited ? The occupants eat and sleep in them, thus NOT spending money in hotels or restaurants. Apart from a minimal amount in supermarkets what do they CONTRIBUTE to the economy of the Cote d'Azure ?
@@AndriyValdensius-wi8gwthis comment proves my point that you haven’t got your facts straight. I won’t waste any more of my time answering your incorrect posts.
The campsites are extremely motorhome friendly but having spent time along the West Coast, I've been spoilt for choice. It's a beautiful part of the world though (well that was until I went to Italy 😆)
There are a few free places, especially during off season; but they’re so precious none of us are willing to share on social media for fear of losing them 🫤👍
Wow fantastic! We couldn't find a thing with any availability other than the 60 euros per night campsite in Port Grimaud (although this was filmed last September). Can you share where you stayed for others if they watch this?
Well definitely won't be visiting there unless we get a campsite. Watching your vlogs is making me want to go ASAP! Thanks Jo for sharing ❤

What a shame such a beautiful place isn’t very motorhome friendly.

I can hardly blame you, I'm the same with my favourite park-ups in the UK, which is why I don't vlog at home very often 😆
