Thought you didnt like Bosch dishwashers?
When I had a new dishwasher and filled the water softner for the first time you always filled it full with water and then salt. Did not the Bosch manual say that?
Yes we had to do that Aswell with our beko

I assume so. I actually sold it and put my vintage Hotpoint badged Bosch constructed dishwasher in the kitchen instead 😂 much to my partners disappointment
5:26 what is this long plastic for? Why is it given?
If you wish to raise the feet height to bring the top of the dishwasher up to the worktop you can install it at the bottom to hide the feet and prevent crumbs etc working their way underneath the dishwasher
Yes as Bjorn stated, your supposed to pour around 2 litres of cold water in to the salt chamber before filling with salt for the first time. Bosch used to supply you with a blue jug with narrow spout to fill the chamber with salt. You did not wipe off the salt granules off the screw thread, i heard a distinct crunch when you screwed the lid on, you can cross thread the cap doing that.

No, it heats it’s own water.
Are the dishwashers still made in Germany?
And sorry but I think you should invest in a funnel for pouring the salt, and maybe buy a belt too 😂

Hi, sorry for not replying sooner. If you wind the feet up to reduce the gap at the top between it and the worktop, it clips in at the base to help stop dirt etc getting kicked under the dishwasher. Hope this helps.

Is the internal chamber of this Bosch Serie 2 Dishwasher constructed from Plastic or Stainless Steel? I was told Bosch Series 2s all have plastic interiors, whereas Series 4s and above, I think have Stainless Steel. And, how has it held up/how is it performing now 2 and bit years since you first got it in (2020) build quality-wise?
Especially, the inside of it with any plastic, is the plastic deteriorating? Interested in one of these so it would be a big help.

Not every cycle. You fill the salt and rinse aid container and it lasts for 20 washes or so.

In some areas no salt needed check with local water authority in soft water area not needed can alter setting and use more or less salt if your kettle furs up need more salt etc
