That large tv sticking out is an eyesore over the tiny black square fireplace box. You don’t want the bigger rectangular box on top. I would add some small console tables/cabinets on either side and paint the whole wall black. Shiplap is dated and everyone is taking it out. You could also do a faux brick wall for texture. Love the brass lights.

Yay! You will love it-it’s beautiful! I forgot to use the glass holders it came with, so my candle sizes were 3 and 4 inches in diameter. You’ll need smaller ones if you use the glass holders.
