As usual, used the bass track to be sure its as accurate as possible (ruclips.net/video/Adymk7vaDb8/видео.html) - although the one bit where the synth bass was playing over the real bass was a bit tricky!
Also, you don't have to use a pick if you don't want to, surprisingly in the studio, John used his thumb to pluck... live he would use a pick though.

Our band cover this and if you are also ( 4 piece ) you might want to pad it out a bit more at 3:48 it's a D down to an fg run then you need to listen to guitar really carefully as it hits the Bflat coz that's your que to get back into the A and the straight drums again. sounds great if you nail it right
