Correction. The "i" in the Cibao region for words like "Fueite", "Pai" instead of "padre", "poique" instead of "porque", "podei" for "poder", "ei" for "el", "finai" for "final" was not because of lack of education,. Due to the isolation from the rest of the island, the way of speaking originates from Galician and Portuguese influence and descendants, speaking old Castilian with a Galician/Portuguese accent, since they're both almost the same even today if you hear a Galician talk it sounds like a more comprehensible form of Portuguese for Spanish speakers. Also, some African languages have tendency to use the letter "i" more often, so it became easier for them to pick up this form of Spanish. And in the Southern region, with the heavy "R" usage, it's because of Manchegos, Murcians, Extremeños, Canarians. Especially since Canarian accent is the one that influenced the most in all of the Americas. So in general, Spanish in DR is very Andalusian in essence aka southern Spain. I would recommend to you, Phoenix Legacy, to check out on youtube a very funny series of shorts called "Curso dandalu"(Curso de Andaluz) pa que veas que tan similar podemos sonar los dominicanos, boricuas o cubanos con los españoles de las diferentes regiones de Andalusía. Mochando palabras y cambiando las l por r, etc.

Be careful the Afronazis will be claiming that Hispanic music is 100% African and you need to bow down to all black people.
