Joe it looks just fine the way it is, I use flocking but not on everything! And most guys that use flocking, they always want to put it on the package tray, I have never seen carpet on that, so you don't have to listen to everyone...lol your doing a great job keep it up!
Hey brother the front end thing, I always double check to make sure the fenderwells and rad support are glued to the frame all the way.😊 hope this helps brother.
Thank you so much for the shout Joe! ❤ I know you can buy rubberized electrical tape...I wonder how it would work for plug boots. love the firing order. lol
It's looking good Joe ! 👍 Also, some small sailboats have a mast that folds down - but I think they were by the bridge to take advantage of the fishing where the fish like to hide under the bridge. 🙂
Joe! Go get some flocking powder! Or try embossing powder, it’s easy, use it on the rear shelf. Just practice with it, why not 🤷♂️ love the door handles, you need to be your own sponsor, like a PSA or something 🤣
Thank you Justin! You say .05, I say close enough lol. Seriously though I do need to figure out the sizes of the bits and label them. I'm having fun with this build.
@modelbuildingcorner You're very welcome sir, I do lots of building when it's cold up here in Canada, been working on adding another video and recording a different one at the same time lol I need to get back at working on my wood ship as well
A hint regarding drill bits. If you have a digital caliper, measure the bits then stick them (in size order) into a piece of cardboard with the size written below them . Makes them very easy to find.
joe what are you doing in my mack truck ?......lol dart is looking good and the headers are a good call ! i just got back into model car building since i was a kid. on my 3rd car now a 65 impala doing it in patina/sleeper keep up the videos......cool stuff you have going on
Before I open my big mouth, I want to tell you how much I enjoy your channel and especially this build. I hate to be that guy, but I always seem to be that rivet counter. Hemi headers on a 440 wont't be anywhere near correct. Hemi's have evenly spaced exhaust ports while 440s and 383s have siamese center exhaust ports (like a small block Chevy). As far as drilling the spark plug holes when using the stock exhaust manifolds, just drill the holes a bit lower than their supposed to be... NO ONE will be able to see that once the engine is in the car! One more pet peeve regarding Mopar spark plug wiring... do not drape the wires over the top of the manifolds, they would literally burn away in seconds in real life.
Although you think your "one of those guys"! Your information is very helpful and I welcome it.as far as the Hemi headers, I just called them that because they are provided in the kit for the Hemi engine. I just filed on them to make them fit. In my scenario they are aftermarket headers that fit a 440 lol. I try to be plausible in my building. But 100% accuracy isn't my goal. These models go from my work area to the display case. Thank you for watching and commenting.
The Model Building Community Is Cool. Building Model Cars Will Never Die. Keep Building In 2025
Thank you Steven!

If yo find out what makes the front end sit up, let’s us know.
I will be sure to!
