Ironically this video involving a vice admiral was uploaded the same day The Last Jedi came out. Also, public decency is actually just wearing clothes in public like a normal person.
It wasn't that Tryon was bad at his job it's that he had a habit of not telling his commanders his intentions and required them to use their own initiative(which he believed was lacking in the Victorian-era Royal Navy). It is believed Tryon intentionally ordered such a dangerous maneuver to present a problem for his deputy commander to solve using his own initiative, unaware of Tryon's intentions Admiral Markham carried out the order despite his concern of the potential danger of the maneuver expecting Tryon to give another order to prevent disaster at the last minute. The rest you can say is history.
It's also fair to say that Sir George Tryon was NOT a bad admiral at all. He was a grate believer in letting other captions take the initiative. So no people were not scared to question what was happening. Unlike a lot of the navy that was basically going against the spirit of Nelson. Basically Sir George Tryon is more like Nelson than any admiral of his time. If anything he was ahead of his time. Royal navy doctrine of the time meant when ships were to move in fleet actions the flag ship would give the second in line order's passed on by flags the second ship would do the same and so
"Admirals in Collision" puts a lot of this into context and explains a lot about the RN culture of the period. If anything, it seems Tryon was guilty of expecting his subordinate commanders to use this thing called initiative. Had CAMPERDOWN steered more to port and not followed orders blindly, she (and her following column) could have cleared VICTORIA (and her column) and ended up as Tryon expected: vessels in same sailing order, nicely anchored, and pointing out to sea. In short, a very smart, impressive bit of ship driving.
I've read of the incident, and it said that a collision was obvious long before it actually happened, but no attempt was made to change the course of either ship to avoid it; no one even attempted to question the admiral when he first gave his orders and they knew even then that it was not going to end happily. Deference to rank is one thing, but this much?

When the last ship got the order it would hoist a flag to confirm the order, and so the second to last in line would also confirm the order and so on back down the line. To the flagship to then start execute order. Sir George Tryon drastically shortened this by allowing his captions to see what was happening ahead of them and to follow, greatly reducing the time to execute an order by ten fold. He was ahead of his time and butchered by the press and parliament.
Back in the days when i starting using youtube this was the guy i watched the most but then for some reason i forgott him and today i found and rememberd him again, wow the nostalgic.
Thers a new 2018 ver of sinking sim on steam green light it is easy to download but has no destroy button only flood but they are adding it read the text on how to spawn ships on it
the back ground of the ship is this: in 1911 thru 1999 the celestial class is the longest served and the longest surviving class to make it thru more wars than its rivals class the Olympic class, while the celestial class was the oldest with the most tech aboard the first ship to actually sink was the R.M.S Celestia over a foot longer than the titanic is, to add to that she sank in 1911 after being completed in 1910 due to her striking an iceberg, that lead to the deaths of 1,534 passengers and crew, while 2,224 passengers and crew made it off the ship in time, she sank with in 4 hours and 40 minutes, she was carrying 3,802 people including her captain but her co captain didn't make it and went down with the ship.
also interesting fact about the Celestia she is a four funneled liner from the green and gold star line, and her colors are gold, with a white band down her middle, separating her upper hull and lower hull, and she also has dark blue funnels. and she sank in the month of April the day the 11th , the time 4:20 am, the position 42.44 north by 14 minutes, 51.14 west by 20 minutes.
Do you know when the game will be updated to not require a downgraded drivers? Mabey you could learn something from the original SSS (because that still works funny enough)

Also a very important fact, the HMS Victoria is the only known ship to be sunk in the seabed at a 90 degree angle
That is an interesting fact!
There is also a French ironclad sunk at that angle. And part of the HMS Hoods stern is also like that, but it's not like the other two
No, actually a Russian monitor is also laying vertical on the seabed. I forget the name.
There is the Russian Ironclad Rusalka and I believe the Japanese submarine I-58 was found to be vertical.
It is a vertical shipwreck

Sorry but your wrong.Tyron was ignored by camperdowns captain 2 times till Tyron said what are you waiting for! Camperdown obeyed hence collision

hey Steven, may I ask you to have a go at the R.M.S Celestia the Celestial class.
the back ground of the ship is this: in 1911 thru 1999 the celestial class is the longest served and the longest surviving class to make it thru more wars than its rivals class the Olympic class, while the celestial class was the oldest with the most tech aboard the first ship to actually sink was the R.M.S Celestia over a foot longer than the titanic is, to add to that she sank in 1911 after being completed in 1910 due to her striking an iceberg, that lead to the deaths of 1,534 passengers and crew, while 2,224 passengers and crew made it off the ship in time, she sank with in 4 hours and 40 minutes, she was carrying 3,802 people including her captain but her co captain didn't make it and went down with the ship.

Can you make the HMS hood and sink it
Download for game?
Not a admiral class ship because admiral class are named after admiral
Chris Wachs You're right, the Victoria is a Victoria class and the Camperdown is an Admiral class.
Dodge Them All the admiral class is classified as a battlecruiser
