Slow, clunky, absolutely no sense of weight. Not to mention a tiny amount of moves Ill never understand what people find in this lame franchise(this is Dark Souls 4). Cant even shine Nioh shoes in the gameplay department. Hopefully they leave that antiquated shit behind after this game and actually start updating their dated Combat engine Sekiro was a step in the right direction but then they had to backtrack to this to trash
there's a tiny amount of moves, indeed, but it's per weapon and you have like 300 weapons and 170 spells to choose from, so there's that. nothing beats DMC5 combat, and this is not even close, but it's not the main selling point. Elden Ring is still a SOLID game
Actually it's easy to explain: the games used to be action adventure titles lol. The series has strayed extremely far from what it originally was. You didn't play Demon's Souls or Dark Souls 1 for the combat, you played for the amazing level design, the sense of mystery, and the general puzzle-like nature of the game (especially in the boss design.) They just kept leaning into the combat more and more as time went on though since normies enjoy the simplified nature of the gameplay, and clearly it's worked for them given how big Elden Ring was. I am personally done though, not buying the dlc or a sequel unless they somehow magically create something more like Dark Souls 1 which at this point I am starting to think was an accident since they haven't managed to replicate it.
it was elden ring but I felt like I was watching devil may cry
LOOOL
maybe if you play it in 2x speed
You don't have the right, O You don't have the right in short still no door...

I thought I was the only one. The most boring and simple combat system. And it's easy. I don't understand why people say it's hard.
